Directions:

Address: 339 Undermountain Rd., Salisbury, CT 06068.
From North: Take US Route 41 South from Route 23 in South Egremont, MA towards CT. At MASS/CT border see sign saying Entering Salisbury, barn is 2.1 miles south from that sign on left.
From South: Take CT Route 41 North from Sharon, CT to the four corners at the Hotchkiss School. Continue straight on Route 41 through Lakeville and Salisbury. At the White Hart Inn in Salisbury, bear left on Route 41 and the barn is approximately 2.8 miles from the Inn on the right.
From West: At traffic light in Millerton, NY on NY Route 22 turn east on US Route 44 heading towards Lakeville, CT and Salisbury CT. In Salisbury at the White Hart Inn bear left on Route 41 towards MA and the barn is approximately 2.8 miles from the Inn on the right.
From East: Take US Route 44 West from Canaan, CT to Salisbury, CT. At the White Hart Inn in Salisbury take sharp right turn on to Route 41 and the barn is approximately 2.8 miles from the Inn on the right.

On line entries through evententries.com.  Draw checks to Riga Meadow Horse Trials.  Credit cards through Event Entries.com only. BN Competitors who are not USEA members must pay extra $25 with entry.  Send entries and checks to Secretary.

All divisions: $170.00 (includes $25 non-refundable office fee).
Note: USEA and USEF fees are not included as part of the entry fee. These association fees should be added to your entry fee, per the itemized Fees Enclosed section of the Entry Form, totaled with the other applicable fees, and sent to the event with your entry.
Stabling: $70.00. 

Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.-  no refund.  Competition cancellation- refund less committed competition expenses or a day of cross country schooling or clinic in future. USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.
Entries:

Competitor Information
Awards:
Trophy & 8 ribbons per division.   The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.) is offering ribbons, prizes and prize money to the top placing Thoroughbred at each level. The reserve low point placed Thoroughbred will receive a ribbon. Eligible horses must provide T.I.P. numbers to event secretary with entry. For more information, visit www.tjctip.com. All prize money will be provided to the host horse show for distribution.  Beginner Novice Low Point Thoroughbred Award - $50 prize money and prize;  Novice Low Point Thoroughbred Award - $50 prize money and  prize;  Training  Low Point Thoroughbred Award - $50 prize and money.  Erin Keehan, Secretary and Chief Scorer. 

Stabling/Veterinarian:
Limited extra permanent stalls available (10). $70 overnight. Initial bedding provided. Enclose separate $25 check for stall cleaning deposit, payable to Riga Meadow. Stall stripped or stall deposit forfeited. Once inspected, check destroyed. Additional bedding/ hay available for purchase, further info from sec´y. Veterinarian: Millbrook Equine Veterinary Clinic, (845) 677 5500, no. will be posted at sec´y´s booth. Farrier: Aiden Nichols, (845) 702-3986, no. will be posted at sec´y´s booth.

Dressage:
Test & arena sizes: T-2014 USEF Training Test A-Sm.   N-2014 USEF Novice Test A-Sm. BN-2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test A-Sm. Two Dressage Arenas-Sand;  Third Dressage Arena, if entries warrant - Grass; SJ-Grass.
Cross-Country:
T- 2300 m @ 420 mpm.  N- 2000 m @ 375 mpm. BN- 1900 m @ 325 mpm. Terrain: Open fields, predominately flat, with some small hills, gradual slopes.  Excellent drainage and footing in event of rain. No woods.  Water jump element.   T: Good introduction for development of rider or new/young horse.  N: Novice course includes water, small banks, ditch, some simple related questions.  Variety of jumps, solid novice. BN: good introduction to basic cross country questions. Images of sample fences in prior year events on line at rigameadow.com   Course closed July 1st.
Other Information:
Cross-country course closed July 1st.
Divisions further divided if entries warrant; state preferences under Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Before CD, filled by cancelled postmark, regardless of division; After CD, filled as openings become available within scheduled divisions. No refund after CD. 
Food available on grounds. Helmets must be worn at all times when mounted.  Dogs must be leashed: $35 loose dog fee.
