From the North: Take Mass Route 3 south to exit 3. Turn left off the exit. Take third right onto Old Sandwich Rd. Farm is 2 miles on the right.
From the South:
Take Mass Route 3 north to exit 2. At end of ramp turn left. Then turn left onto route 3A north. Follow Route 3A north for approx. 2 miles. Turn left onto Old Sandwich Rd. Farm is approx 2 miles on your left.

Entry: Horse Trials divisions PT/T/N/BN: $185.00; Intro $160.00.
Horse Trials Competitors: USEA Starter/D&M fees are not included as part of the entry fee, please add these to your entry fee.
INTRO Competitors: INTRO entrants are exempt from USEA Starter/D&M fees and USEA membership/non-membership fees do not apply.
Stabling: $100.00 per night (portable stalls) on grounds.
Late Fee:  $25.00 for entries accepted after close date.
Refunds: Before C.D -Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D. Entry-Less $25 office fee ONLY if place can be filled from a wait list. $100 non transferable credit towards Valinor Farm 2017 Schooling Event for scratches after closing date if accompanied by a vet or doctor note, else no refund. Competition cancellation-No refund.
USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy:  The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21) are not subject to office fees and  shall be returned, within 30 days of the competition, to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

$25 charge for all incomplete/incorrect or changes to entry after June 6.
Entries must included birth date, signatures, USEA #'s and payment to be complete.
USEA current membership
(Junior Collegiate, Full or Life) and horse registration (Linited for T, N BN or Full) are required for all levels except INTRO.
$25 charge for lost pinny, no deposit required.
$25 fee for non-negotiable check. 
Negative Coggins required within 12 months for all horses.
Refunds:
Before C.D -Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D. Entry-Less $25 office fee ONLY if place can be filled from a wait list. $100 non transferable credit towards Valinor Farm 2017 Schooling Event for scratches after closing date if accompanied by a vet or doctor note, else no refund.

Competitor Information
Awards:

Prizes & 8 ribbons per division. The  Jockey Club's T.I.P (Thoroughbred Incentive Program) is sponsoring awards and prize money for the highest placing thoroughbred at each level. If you are competing a thoroughbred, be sure to register with the T.I.P.  See this website for application and more information.  www.tjctip.com 


Stabling/Veterinarian:
Limited. Temporary Stalls (10x12) with doors. $100/stall/night on grounds. Possibly more available off-grounds. Stabling form must accompany entry. Competitors stabling Saturday night please arrive between 3 and 8 pm.  Please contact secretary if you need to arrive late.  Stall doors provided, bedding available for purchase, $8 per bag, please order with entry. Veterinarian: Halifax Veterinary Services, (781) 294-8155. # will be posted on board inside barn.
Accommodations:

 The Blue Spruce 5 miles (508) 224-3990 mention Valinor Farm for a 10% discount, Hilton Garden Inn-8 mi., (508) 830-0200 Comfort Inn-10 mi., (508) 746-2800. John Carver Inn-10 mi., (508) 746-7100. Many others. Camping: Not available on grounds. Several campgrounds nearby.  Myles Standish State Forest 5 miles.

INTRO-
2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test A-Sm. 
Arenas: grass or sand.

Cross-Country:
T- 2200 m @ 420 mpm. N- 2000 m @ 350 mpm. BN- 1500 m @ 300 mpm/max fence height 2' 7". INTRO- 1200 m @ 300mpm/max fence height 2'3".  All courses: Early season courses, open fields with rolling terrain and some wooded trails.  Footing generally very good, sand based turf. Courses include banks, water, ditches appropriate for level.  No water on the INTRO course.   INTRO course is a very simple introduction to the sport.  PT divisions run a modified Stadium (3' 5" max) with options on the TR X-Cty course. Cross-country course closed May 15th.  Please see our website www.valinorfarm.com for sample pictures of fences at each level.
Other Information:
Upgraded footing in all outdoor sand rings. Cross-country course closed by May 15th.
Entry limit 100 per day. Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; please state preferences under Eligible Section, provide experience and birth date on entry.
Dogs must be leashed.
No motorized vehicles allowed on X-Cty.
Non-competing horses must purchase a #.
Please contact organizer if you need to arrive for stabling after 8pm.
Parking is limited, please write the size of your trailer on your entry form.
Water and food available on grounds.
