Biosecurity: The Colorado Horse Park requires the follow: current negative coggins certificate within one year; Health Certificate within 7 days of arrival; paperwork reflecting the dates of vaccinations that were given. They need to be within 180 days and the most important is the flu/Rhino - EVH 1 & 4. It would be preferable that the vaccinations are included on the Health Certificate. Horses may not unload until paperwork is turned in and approved. All horses must enter the facility off Bayou Gulch Rd. There will only be one entrance open and it will be the first entry east of Ponderosa High School and across from the church. No entrance for horse show trailers through the top gate on S. Pinery Dr.

CHP Pre-Check: We will be offering CHP Pre-Check. Pre-Check consists of the owner submitting all paperwork a minimum of 24-48 hours in advance of the show, and upon approval, the owner shall receive a pass for each horse to be presented upon arrival at the biosecurity gate. This will speed up your entrance to the facility. Please email all relevant documents to: [email protected] Your passes will be emailed back to the address from which you send the documents.

From North: I25 South exit Lincoln; east to Parker road (#83); south (right) on Parker Road. Go 6.5 miles. Turn east (left) on Bayou Gulch Road (there is a traffic light). Follow signs to Colorado Horse Park. Main entrance just east of Ponderosa High School.
From South: I25 N exit 181 (Plum Creek Pkway) in Castle Rock. Turn right onto Plum Creek Pkway. Then .24 miles turn left onto S Perry St. Make a right onto 5th St (turns into E Highway 86/CO-86. Turn left onto CO-83/N State HW 86. Go approx. 3 miles to Bayou Gulch Road (there is a traffic light). Turn East (right) onto Bayou Gulch Road - follow signs to Colorado Horse Park.

Thurs: CCI and CIC: In-Barn examination for CCI and CIC horses 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM.  2:00 PM Briefing and course walk for FEI Competitors and Coaches.
4:30 PM First Horse Inspection; HT Course open 3:00 PM.
Fri: Dressage: 8:00 AM.
Sat: Cross Country 8:00 AM.
Sun: 8:30 AM CCI and CIC Final Horse Inspection. Show Jumping: 11 AM for CCI and CIC Horses; 8 AM for HT.

Attention US Riders: Entries for ALL FEI competitions must be submitted to the FEI through the USEF online entry system https://usef.org/_AUAIFrames/FEI/Entry/Default.aspx or they will not be considered complete. There is no fee to submit an entry through this system. Athletes MUST also enter the events (and pay the entry fees) through the normal entry process. Please also pay close attention to the closing date in the FEI Definite Schedule. Foreign riders need to contact their National Federation.

Entries:
Entries: Enter online at www.evententries.com. Entry fee includes $25 non-refundable office fee. Checks and credit card charges will be processed upon entry acceptance. Double entries not accepted. Refunds before CD less $25 dollar non refundable office fee. Refunds after closing date: stabling and USEA fees. Competition Cancellation - Full refund. **All scratches/ changes must be in writing, email, or fax. Changes after closing date subject to availability of slots in other divisions. A late entry fee of $50 for entries received after closing date. Neg. Coggins required within 12 months for all horses. Copy of Coggins must accompany entry. A health certificate within 7 days of each horses arrival is required upon entrance to facility.  For HT exhibitors an approved and completed medical card or medical bracelet is required any time while jumping.

FEI passports required for all FOREIGN owned CCI and CIC horses. National passports required for all US owned CCI and CIC horses not in possession of an FEI passport. Requirements for horse passports, recognition cards and the registration of horses for FEI events are set forth in the GRs.  See article 1027 Horse Passports, Recognition Cards and Micro chips in the 2016 Veterinary Regulations.

Vaccination requirement: All horses participating in FEI Events must be vaccinated against equine influenza, according to the following minimum protocol: An initial Primary course of two vaccinations must be given; the second vaccination must be administered within 21-92 days of the first vaccination. The first booster must be given within seven calendar months following the date of administration of the second vaccination of the Primary course.  All horses that were certified as correctly receiving the Primary course prior to January 1, 2005 (under previous regulations), are not required to fulfill the requirement for the first booster, providing there has been no lapse in their vaccination regime.  Booster Vaccinations: a) The minimum booster frequency is every 12 Months. b) However for horse competing, the last booster must have been given with in 6 months plus 21 days (and not with in 7 days) before arrival at the event.
CCI and CIC Horses arriving without correct up to date vaccination records in accordance with FEI VET Regs, Appendix VI, will be charged an additional office fee. Also please note Articles 1028 - 1030 in the 2016 Veterinary Regulations.  All CCI and CIC riders must include copy of medical arm band with entry.  All CCI and CIC riders and horses must be registered with FEI, USEF, and USEA.  Riders are responsible for being current with any new FEI regulations.  All intermediate, Prelim, CCI and CIC must include copy of USEF Member card for rider and owner with entry.

Awards:
HT: Ribbons through tenth place and awards in-kind or prize money through third place paid by check to the owner of the horse listed on entry.  
Prize Money: CCI2 and CCI1 - $7,500 each; CIC2 - $5,000. Prize money paid by check to owner of horse as listed on entry.  Distribution of prize money per FEI regulations; Articles 128, 129 & 130.  Best turn out for CCI and CIC horse and rider during horse inspections.  Best conditioned CCI and CIC horse.

Stabling/Veterinarian:
Stabling: $150 for duration Thursday through Sunday.  $35 for each additional night.  Turn out paddock day $25/per day - only for horses stabled during the event. If space permits, day stalls may be rented for $35/night. Permanent and temporary stalls on grounds - stall doors provided. Tack stalls $150. $30 one time grounds fee per horse for non-stabled horses.  All fees must be included with entry. Shavings are not included. RV Accommodations: RV Parking with hook up on Grounds $40 per night (reserve with entry). Please specify if RV is 30 amp or 50 amp on RV Parking Form. CAMPING ONLY ALLOWED IN RV SPOTS - no dry camping.

CCI2 - approx 5000 meters @ 550m/ml CCI1 - approx 4000 meters @ 520m/m. CIC2- approx 3300 meters @ 550 m/m. I - approx 3200 meters @ 550m/m. P- approx 2600 meters @520m/m. T-approx 2300meters @ 450m/m. N-approx 1900 Meters @ 400m/m. BN-approx 1600 meters 350m/m. Grass footing with rolling terrain, Water on all courses.  Courses appropriate for horses with some experience at their levels. Includes 2 or 3 water complexes. James Atkinson - Course Designer and Builder. Cross Country course closed after May 8, 2017.

Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant. State preference under the eligible section and put birth date on entry.
Food Vendors on grounds.
Any dog caught off leash will be charged $50 - to go to jump building fund. For safety purposes, all small children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. TBA evening competitor party included in entry for competitors. $15 per person for each additional ticket, please include reservations and money with entry. Please fill out information about your horse and competition history on bottom of entry form for announcer.
Due to state and county requirements, no unauthorized, motorized vehicles of any kind will be allowed on the cross country course. All drivers of motorized vehicles (including golf carts, dirt bikes, etc) must have a current drivers license and be able to show proof. Limited number of golf carts available on grounds. Incomplete or illegible entries may be returned. Non competing horses not allowed in warm up areas during competition - must get bridle number from show secretary and wear at all times when out of stall.
