From Knoxville and West (I-40 or I-640 Bypass): Exit 394: Turn LEFT at light at exit onto 11E. Travel East approx. 16 miles to RG sign on left of hwy (Lowery Loop Rd). On right is New Market Church. Turn left and go straight at stop sign. At Baker Rd. turn left (signs will direct you from there). Approx. 5 miles. (NOTE: Do NOT take fork to the right on 11E that says 11W/25W.)
From Dandridge and East (I-40): Exit 417: Turn RIGHT at light at exit, onto Hwy 92. Travel North approx 10 mi. to 11E. Turn left (West) for approx 6 mi to RG sign on right at Lowery Loop Rd. Follow directions as above. More complete directions from hotels on website: river-glen.com

Tentative Schedule:
Fri: Cross-country course open-3 pm. Aerator will be used on cross-country courses. 
Sat: Dressage-8 am; Show Jumping-10:30 am.  Starter is 1-day, Saturday.  Competitor party (complimentary) following jumping!!!
Sun: Cross-country-8 am.
PLEASE NOTE:  If number of horses warrant, changes to the schedule may necessitate the addition of Friday Dressage or Sat x/country.  Emails will communicate any such changes as soon as possible to competitors.
The Starter Test is a one-day test.  This will facilitate those who wish to trailer-in for the day.  A weekend stall may be secured if they are available.  Disciplines that demand both days will take priority.

CLOSING DATE.  Competition cancellation-No refund.   USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy:  The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test. 
 
Entries:
Entry fees:  A $25 non-refundable office fee is charged per entry. All divisions, including BN must have USEA membership, with the exception of the Starter division.  If oversubscribed, priority to USEA members.  Divisions may be further divided or combined if entries warrant. Starter: USEA membership/non-membership fees are waived and the USEA Starter fee does not apply.  Preliminary and Intermediate MUST include copies of Rider, Owner and Trainer USEF membership cards.   Double entries:  Not accepted.  No changes allowed in office on the Friday of event unless mandated by USEF regulations.  
Late Entries:  By USEF rule:  COMPLETE entries INCLUDING payment must be RECEIVED IN OFFICE by the end of the day on the closing date. 
A late entry fee ($40) will be charged for any entry received 7 days after the closing date of April 4, 2017.  A late change fee ($40) will be charged for any change made to entry after the closing date.  
Stabling Form:   Requests need to be noted by placing same name (trainer, barn or person to be stabled with)  on stabling form.  Late entry stabling requests may not be able to be accommodated.  A separate check for Stall Deposit - PER HORSE- must be included.
An entry may be snail-mailed or filled out online at www.useventing.com (at Online Services).  Payment by credit card is accepted with electronic entry through Xentry. ALL ENTRIES using www.xentry.com, must be printed and mailed to the secretary with original signatures, negative Coggins within 12 months, Stabling Form and any monies not paid online.   Any amounts owed at check-in must be paid with CASH.

Awards:

Trophy & 8 ribbons per division.

Stabling/Veterinarian:

Limited to stall capacity.  $160 Thursday thru Sunday nights, addt'l nights $25 per stall. Initial 2 bags shavings included in cost.  Additional bags $7 each.  210 perm. stalls on grounds, 10 x 12;  permanent iron half/gates provided on stalls.  Stall deposit:  $25; send separate check.   Stalls must be STRIPPED (not picked) or stall cleaning deposit check will be cashed. $50 fine for switching assigned stalls without permission from secretary. No schooling permitted until cross/country is finished on Sunday (includes non-comp horses). Schooling only permitted with signed waiver in office and trainer present. Fee $25, those eliminated in show may school with no charge. Veterinarian: Will be on grounds during event. Emergency # will be posted at secy's office.  Starter Division is 1-day; stall priority will go to Levels that need to be on grounds both days.

I-approx. 2800 m @ 550 mpm. IP/P- approx. 2300 m @ 520 mpm. PT/T-approx. 2100 m @ 420 mpm. N/BN-approx. 1900 m @ 350 mpm. BN max. height 2'6". Starter: Approx. 1200m @ 300 mpm., max height 2'3". No ditches, water optional.  Terrain:  Varied.  All courses: Average.  Water at all levels - BN crossing.  Bank, Drop, Ditch are possible at all levels.  BN max height 2'7".  Cross-country course closed April 9, 2017.
