College Team Challenge -- prizes will be awarded to first place college team and each college team gets a free tack stall. There is also a scratch team challenge with the winning team getting prizes for each team member.

Tentative Schedule:

Fri: Stables open at noon, Cross-country course opens-3 pm, Competitor’s Course Walk Party 3:00-7:00 pm.
Sat: Dressage 7:30 am; Cross-country 9:30 am; Competitor’s Buffet Dinner 6:00-8:00 pm.
Sun: Show Jumping 8:00 am.  Awards immediately following Divisions.
Final competition schedule will be determined by the number of entries in each division.  Please check website for updates at www.Fence.org

Starting times & stabling info will be available by 6:00 pm Wednesday, April 12th on www.Fence.org Please include an email address on entry form and times will be emailed to you.  No postcards will be sent.

Enter on-Line: www.EventEntries.com or Xentry.  If submitting an electronic entry through EventEntries or Xentry and paying by credit card be sure to upload your signed signature page and current negative Coggins to the Secretary within 5 days of entering (if not postmarked within 5 days, entry will be assigned a postmark on the date complete). Be aware that the vendor may charge a nominal fee for services.

Withdrawals or changes must be submitted in writing to the secretary (Fax or Email is acceptable). Submit $25 for each change. No changes after 3:00 pm April 9th. Incomplete entries receive no postmark until the day they are made complete. Check web site after C.D. for entry status.
Neg. Coggins required for all horses within 12 months of the date of the show. Copy of Coggins must be sent to the Secretary.

All horses on grounds must be entered or registered as non-competing.
P/T/N/BN: Early Entry postmarked by March 14th $175.00. Entries postmarked March 15th-28th $195.00.  Entries postmarked after March 28th $235.00.
Starter: $130.00 (exempt from USEF, USEA and non-membership fees; USEA Starter, D&M fee do not apply).
Stabling: $120.00.
Tack Stall: $50.00.
Stall Cleaning Deposit: $50.00 (stall and tack stall must be stripped and swept clean).
Grounds fee: $25.00 (non-stabled horses for entire event).
Non-Competing Horse fee: $25.00 per day.
Camping for the event (no tent camping): $50.00.


Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.-Entry/stabling-Less $25 ONLY if place can be filled from wait list.  Competition cancellation-No refund. USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

Entries:

All entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. $40 Late fee for entries received after closing date. $50.00 NSF fee.Double entries: Not accepted. Number of entries per rider may be limited at the discretion of the Secretary.
USEA current membership (Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels,
except Starter. Starter Test participants are exempt from USEA membership and the USEA Starter/D&M fees do not apply. 

Any entries not complete by the closing date
will be charged a $20 late fee, this means we must have all forms, documents, signature and funds, or it will be considered late and will be charged the $20 late fee. Post entries accepted if space available must pay $40 late fee. (all checks/funds postmarked after close date will be charged this $40 Post entry fee).

Competitor Information
Awards:
Prize & 8 ribbons per division. Team challenge award for Divisional Team Challenge.  Collegiate Team award.
Stabling/Veterinarian:

$120 stall from noon Fri. to 5 pm Sun. Tack stall: $50. 302 perm. stalls on grounds. No portable stalls allowed. Stall doors/initial bedding (2 bags shavings) provided. Order your additional bedding on the stabling form.  Additional bedding, $7/bag. $50 stall cleaning fee required on SEPARATE CHECK. Stalls (includes tack stall) to be stripped and swept clean prior to departure. $25 grounds fee for horses not stabled at event.
Veterinarian and Farrier: On grounds, # will be posted at Secretary's office.

Dressage:

Test & arena sizes:  All tests in small arena. P-2014 USEF Preliminary Test A. T-2014 USEF Training Test A. N-2014 USEF Novice Test A. BN-2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test A. Starter-2015 USDF Intro Test A. Arenas: All-weather stone dust arenas; warm-up: stone dust &/or grass.

Cross-Country:

P: Approximately 2600m @ 520 mpm. T: Approximately 2200m @ 450 mpm. N: Approximately 1900m @ 380mpm. BN: Approximately 1500m @ 330 mpm. Starter: Approximately [email protected] 300mpm (max. height 2 feet). Terrain: Hilly with possible natural water crossings.   Starter course may include a water option. Cross-country course closed March 19.

Other Information:

NOTE:  THIS WILL BE THE FIRST EVENT AT FENCE TO REQUIRE RIDER PAPER PINNY HOLDERS FOR CROSS COUNTRY.  SECRETARY WILL HAVE SMALL NUMBER OF PLASTIC PINNY HOLDERS FOR SALE PAPER NUMBERS WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR CROSS COUNTRY.
Cross-country course closed March 19.  On Sunday April 16th there will be XC schooling for those wanting to go again or try a move-up course.
Levels may be divided/combined if entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Be sure to include horse and rider experience in the appropriate place on the entry form! If entries exceed 150 then Starter will do Dressage on Saturday and on Sunday they will do Stadium first and then XC.

Food Concession Stand on grounds opens Friday at noon-4 pm; Saturday 6 am-3 pm; Sunday 6 am-3 pm.
Dogs must be leashed with person attached.
Competitor’s party or refreshments
…...Friday: Course walk Competitor's refreshments and finger food from 3:00-7:00 pm at the Start Box on the XC course.  Competitor gets one ticket, $5 guest fee, send with entry or purchase at check-in.
Saturday:  Buffet style dinner at the Gordon Wright Pavilion from 6:00-8:00 pm. Competitor gets one ticket, $10 guest fee, send with entry or purchase at check-in. More information on these parties will be sent to competitors two weeks prior to event.
TEAM CHALLENGE:Teams consist of four riders competing in the same Division (P, T, N, BN or Starter Division). The best three weighted scores will be used to determine final team standings.  Write your team name on your entry form.  If you wish to ride on a team but do not have enough riders to form one please email the Secretary and she will help you get on a team.  There is no additional fee to compete as a team.  Prizes awarded to first place winners of each Division at the conclusion of this event.
COLLEGE TEAM CHALLENGE: Enter your College Team (may be across Divisions) for the College Team Grand Prize.There is no additional fee to compete as a team.  Prizes will be awarded to all members of the first place team.
