From I-26:
Exit Landrum SC(#1). Hwy 14 towards Landrum for 1.5mi.; Right on Bomar; One block, turn right on Prince Rd. Go 1.7mi to left on Hunting Country Rd just before crossing underneath I-26 bridge. Stabling on Left 8/10mi. Competition at Foothills Equestrian Nature Center. All turns marked by FENCE signs.

All horses on grounds must be entered or registered as Non-competing.
Entry: P/T/N/BN Early Entry (postmarked by August 17th) $175; Entries postmarked August 18th - 31st $195; Entries post marked after August 31st $235. 
Entry: Starter $165.
Grounds Fee: Non-competing horses $25/day must register with Secretary and wear a bridle number at all times while on grounds.
Stabling: $150 (noon Fri - 5pm Sun).  Addit'l night: $20.00 each additional day or partial additional day.
Tack Stalls: $100.
Ship-in: $25 for non-stabled horses.
Bedding: $7.50. 
RV Hook-up: $45./night (electric & water). 
Late Entry: $40 fee.
Changes: $25.
Returned Checks: $25.
Party Tickets:  Friday evening free; Saturday evening $10. (one complimentary ticket per competitor)
XC Pinny # Holder: $20./each.
Entries:
Entry fee includes a $25. non-refundable office fee.  Double Entries not accepted.  USEA membership required at all levels except Starter.  BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay extra $25. with entry.  Divisions may be further divided or combined if entries warrant.  If oversubscribed, priority given to USEA members.  Starter competitors are exempt from USEA Membership/non-membership fees and starter/D&M fees but will require a XC pinney # holder which are sold on site for $20.  Returned checks incur $25. processing charge.  All changes after Sept 2 incur a $25 fee.  All changes and scratches must be made in writing, or email to secretary.  www.evententries.com for entry status and times.  Refunds: Before CD-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After CD- Entry/Stabling- Less $25 ONLY if place filled from waiting list. Competition Cancellation-No refund. USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21.), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

Current USEF card must accompany P entries.  

Neg Coggins within 12 months required for all horses.  Legible and clear copy must have a "date drawn" and "accession number" and must be provided with entry. "Smartphone" photos must be completely visible with all information.  Coggins copy required to keep in the Show Office; we will not make copies for you at the event.  

Late Entries:  If space allows post/late entries will be accepted and they will be charged an additional $40. late fee.  Any entry postmarked after Closing Date will be considered a late entry and the $40. late fee applies.  Additionally, any electronic entry made prior to Closing Date must be COMPLETE within 5 days after Closing or will also be considered a late entry and charged the $40. Late fee.  This includes Coggins, signatures, and required documents.  Funds must be received/postmarked whether entering electronically or by mail, by 11:59 pm on the closing date or will be considered late.  Late fee policy will be strictly followed!!

Stabling Form:  Requests need to be noted by placing same name (trainer, barn or person to be stabled with) on stabling form.  Late entry stabling requests may not be able to be accommodated.  A separate check for Stall Deposit -- PER HORSE -- must be included.

Competitor Information
Awards:
Prize and 8 ribbons per division.  Team competition awards.
Stabling/Veterinarian:
Limited stabling 300 permanent 10 x 10 stalls with doors, on grounds.  $150.00 /Stall from noon on Fri. to 5pm on Sunday; $100/Tack stall. 
Grounds fee: for horses entered but not stabling on grounds, $25./day.  Non-competing horses must be stabled or pay grounds fee.  All horses on grounds must be entered as competing or registered as non-competing.  No portable stalls allowed.  Initial bedding provided (2 bags/stall).  Tack Stalls no bedding provided.  Order bedding on stabling form ($7.50/bag):  extra bedding available from Show Office. 
Veterinarian:  On grounds and on call.  Tryon Equine Hospital, 828.894.6065.  Farrier:  On grounds and on call.  Mick Doyle, 864.978.6282.

Dressage:

Test & arena sizes:  All tests in small arena. P-2014 USEF Preliminary Test A. T-2014 USEF Training Test A. N-2014 USEF Novice Test A. BN-2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test A. Starter-2011 USDF Intro Test A. Arenas: All-weather stone dust arenas; warm-up: stone dust &/or grass.

Cross-Country:

Course designed by Greg Schlappi, builder of Pam-Am Games in Toronto, Canada and of six North American Junior/Young Rider Championships.  Hilly, horses must be fit.

P: Approximately 2600m @ 520 mpm. T: Approximately 2200m @ 450 mpm. N: Approximately 1900m @ 380mpm. BN: Approximately 1500m @ 330 mpm. Starter: Approximately [email protected] 300mpm (max. height 2 feet). Terrain: Hilly with possible natural water crossings.   Starter course may include a water option. Cross-country course closed August 26.

Levels may be divided/combined if entries warrant; state preferences under the eligible Section and birth date on entry.  Be sure to include horse and rider experience in the appropriate place on the entry form! 

Food Concession Stand on grounds opens Friday at noon-4pm; Saturday 6am-3pm; Sunday 6am – 3pm.

Dogs must be leashed with person attached.

Competitor’s parties:  Friday:  Welcome Reception at the Gordon Wright pavilion from 5-7pm.  FREE.   Saturday:  Buffet Dinner at FENCE House, 6-8pm.  Competitor receives 1 ticket free.  Guest/each additional ticket, $10.00

No motorized vehicles allowed on Cross Country Course

No Smoking on Grounds

Competitor packets available from Show Office by 1pm on Friday.

Cross Country Schooling permitted, with trainer present, for those who are eliminated after show is over on Sunday at no charge.  For others who wish to school, fee is $35.  Liability forms must be signed in office.
