GMHA is on Rte 106 - 6 miles south of Woodstock, VT
From West NY Thruway: To I-87 Northway to exit 20. Take Rte 149 to Fort Ann, then Rt. 4 to Rutland & Woodstock. Take Rt. 106 south 6 miles to GMHA. From South: I-91 to Ascutney, exit 8, Rt. 131 west 7 miles to Rte 106 north, 12 miles to GMHA.
From East: I-89 to exit 1 in VT. Take Rt. 4 into Woodstock. Then Rt.106 south to GMHA.

Tentative Schedule:
Fri: Barns open for weekend arrivals at 4 pm. Cross-country course open for walking -3 pm. Check your program for Show Jumping Course Walk times.
Sat: Dressage- 8:00 am, Show Jumping- 10:00 am.
Sun: Cross-country- 8:00 am.

Fees:
Draw checks to GMHA. One check for each horse and rider combination.
Entry: BN,N,T,P: $215.00.
Stabling: $110.00 for Friday and Saturday; additional fees to be paid with entry.
Grounds Fee:  $25.00 for each non-stabling horse.
Entries:
You may enter through EventEntries.com or mail paper entry and stable form postmarked on the opening date, use USEA 2016 Horse Trials entry, Coggins test and RABIES certificate and applicable membership card copies, one check per horse/rider combination. Negative Coggins dated after 9/17/2015. Divisions will be further divided or combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. NOTE: USEA and USEF fees are not included as part of the entry fee. These association fees must be added to your entry fee, per the itemized Fees Enclosed section of the Entry Form; totaled with the other applicable fees, and sent to the event with your entry. Entries may not be postmarked prior to the opening date.  Entry Confirmation status will be posted on www.gmhainc.org and www.area1usea.org. Double entries: Not accepted. Membership: Beginner Novice entries must be a USEA member, or pay the USEA non-member fee. USEA membership required at Novice Level and above. Preliminary entries must be USEF members, or pay the USEF non-member fee. Preliminary Competitors (rider, owner, trainer, coach) must submit copies of USEF membership card OR pay USEF non-member fee. Fees: Checks will be processed as entries are received =. Bring your own pinny for slide in X-C numbers.  All changes must be made in writing: mail, fax, or email acceptable. There will be a $35 change fee for ANY change to an entry after the closing date; ex. change of horse or rider, change of division (if space allows). There is a $35 fee for any bounced checks. Incomplete Entries: $20 incomplete fee for entries that are missing Coggins/Rabies/Signatures after the closing date. Refunds: Scratches received in writing on or before the closing date will be refunded minus a $25 non-refundable office fee. No refunds of any fees after the closing date. Stabling will be refunded ONLY if management can fill your stall. In the event the competition has to cancel, there will be no refunds. USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.  
Competitor Information
Awards:

Trophy & 8 ribbons per division. Special Award presented to the GMHA Member with the best overall score at any level at Horse Trial. Become a GMHA member today!

Stabling/Veterinarian:
No tack stalls available.  Permanent stalls w/doors. Hay and bagged shavings available for purchase, $10 per bag/ bale. Orders placed with original stabling form entry will be delivered to your stall prior to arrival.    Stalls are to be stripped upon departure and will be checked the morning after the event. No stall cleaning deposit is required; however, the competitor will be billed $50 for a dirty stall.  No non-competing horses on grounds. Veterinarian/Farrier: TBA; will be on call Friday on grounds  Sat. & Sun.  Phone numbers will be posted in the office and the event program.
Accommodations:
Visit www.gmhainc.org or WoodstockChamberVT.com for full accommodations list. Zoning prohibits camping of any kind (tents, trailer, camper, etc) on GMHA grounds. Speed limits in Woodstock are strictly enforced!
Dressage:
Test & arena sizes: P-2014 USEF Preliminary Test A-Sm. T-2014 USEF Training Test B-Sm. N-2014 USEF Novice Test B-Sm. BN- 2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm. Arenas: Grass, sand.
Cross-Country:
P-2600 m @ 520 mpm. T-2000 m @ 450 mpm. N-1800 m @ 375 mpm. BN-1600 m @ 350 mpm.   All courses true to the level while offering positive educational questions.  Terrain: Very hilly; much water, and woods.  Cross-country course closed September 1.

Concession on grounds during show hours.
Strict Dog Policy-Pet must be leashed at all times. $50.00 fee for each off-leash occurrence. No dogs allowed on cross-country course on cross-country day.  Horses must wear bridle number when out of stall. Cell Phone coverage can be unreliable in Vermont (and non-existent at GMHA) We recommend bringing a calling card with you.
