From NY State Thruway: Exit 46 Rochester to I-390 south to Exit 8 to right (west) on 20A. Turn right at Main Street Rte. 39 at light. Go thru town, then about 3-4 miles Roots Tavern Rd. is second left (after leaving town) turn left to stabling & dressage. Cross-country is 1 mile west of Roots Tavern location; turn left on Nations Rd.

Preliminary, Training, and PT: $180.00. TN, Novice, and Beginner Novice: $165.00. Intro: $150.00.
Please note that Intro DOES NOT NEED TO PAY USEA fees.
Any overpayment $25 or less will be considered a donation.
$50 fee for entries postmarked after closing. 
Entries received after June 28th will be accepted if there is room, please contact the secretary.

If entering with Xentry, signature page, coggins, stall deposit (if applicable) and payment MUST be received within 5 days or entry will be removed from entry list.  Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee.  BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay additional $25 with entry.  Intro does not require USEA/USEF Membership; USEA starter D&M Fees to not apply.  If oversubscribed, priority given to USEA members.  Entry errors that are $25 or less will be considered contributions to the cross country building fund.  $25 fee for any changes after the closing date.  
Refunds: Before Closing: Less $25 non-refundable office fee.  After closing date: entry less $50 ONLY if place filled from waiting list.  USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test. Competition Cancellation – No refund. Additional information can be found at and in the Omnibus. Entry form can be found on Area 1 web site.  Double entries: Not accepted. Multiple entries may be limited. Preliminary competitors must include copy of USEF membership for rider; owner and trainer with entry. Divisions may be further divided/combined or cancelled as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section, birth date and if amateur rider on entry form. Copy of current negative Coggins (within 12 months) must accompany entry, or entry considered incomplete. If late entries are accepted, must enter via Xentry and pay with a credit card.   Incomplete entries will be placed on bottom of draw pile. Entry confirmation status will be posted on

Competitor Information
Prizes & 6 ribbons per division.
GVOTTB Series - Thoroughbred Incentive Program for horses who HAVE RACED - 1-3 place ribbons available in all divisions.  If interested, please contact secretary to sign up - entries for the GVOTTB program will close 5 days before event. 

Limited on site Friday to Sunday only. $100 Friday noon to Sunday night. $50 Saturday night only (if available). 50 perm stalls (approx 10 X10) with doors on grounds – cross-country course approx. 1/2 mile from stabling. Mandatory muck deposit $40, separate check to GVH to accompany entry. Stall doors & initial bedding only provided. Feed/hay/bedding available for purchase, further info from sec´y. Alternate stabling or for early arrivals prior to Friday, late departures after Sunday - Off-grounds only, contact Secretary at (585) 739-7324Veterinarian: Genesee Valley Equine Clinic (585) 889-1170. Test & arena sizes: P and PT-2014 USEF Preliminary Test A-Sm. T and TN-2014 USEF Training Test A-Sm. N-2014 USEF Novice Test A-Sm. BN-2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm. Intro - 2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test A-Sm. Arenas: 3 sand. Warm up grass.
P-2800 m @ 520 mpm - course is in an open field with rolling hills.  Expect to see a lot of galloping fences with more open combinations.  Course runs through natural creeks in addition to manmade water jump.   T-2370 m @ 420 mpm - course is in an open field with rolling hills.  Training level course shares jumps with Preliminary level course - Good galloping course.  Course runs through natural creeks in addition to manmade water jump.  N-1950 m @ 350 mpm - course is in an open field with rolling hills and natural creek crossings, in addition to manmade water jump.  BN-1600 m @ 350 mpm/max. height 2´7’ - Course is in an open field - natural hilly terrain with creek crossings.  Good, open course without too many technical questions for Beginner Novice Level.  Intro - 1200m @ 300 mpm/max height 2'2 - Course is in an open field.  Water jump is manmade - horses will see other horses on course in open setting.  Terrain is open rolling hills - riders may be asked to cross natural creek.    Cross-country course closed June 1, 2016 (Cross-country course schooling Monday, May 30,  2 – 5pm. 

Since Cross Country is in an open field, the spectator opportunities are huge!  Bring your friends to watch you ride!
