Directions:

Address: 1979 London Rd., New Market, TN 37820 PLEASE CHECK MAPQUEST and GPS directions against these directions.  They may take you on the other side of the river, or under an overpass that is too low!!!    
From Knoxville and West (I-40): Exit 394: Turn LEFT at light at exit onto 11E. (NOTE: Do NOT take fork to the right on 11E that says 11W/25W) Travel east approx. 17 miles to RG sign on left of hwy (Lowery Loop Rd). On right is New Market Church. Turn left and go straight through stop sign. At Baker Rd. turn left (signs will direct you from there). Approx. 5 miles.
From Dandridge and East (I-40): Exit 417: Turn RIGHT at light at exit, onto Hwy 92. Travel North approx 10 mi. to 11E. Turn left (West) approx 6 mi. to RG sign on right at Lowery Loop Rd. Follow directions as above.

Tentative Schedule:
Thurs: Cross-country course open-3 pm;  Aerator will be used on Cross-country courses.
Fri: Possible Dressage offered to certain levels. Communication by email. 
Sat: Dressage -8 am; Show Jumping -10:30 am; All 3 phases of the Starter Division.  Competitors Party approx 6 p.m.
Sun: Cross-country -8 am.                    
PLEASE NOTE:  If number of horses warrant, changes to the schedule may necessitate the addition of Friday Dressage or Saturday Cross-country.  Emails will communicate any such changes as soon as possible to competitors. 
Starting Times:

Will be posted on web at www.river-glen.com no later than Wednesday prior to event. Results will be posted on same site within 2 days of event.

Entry Fees:  I/P: $195.00;  T/N/BN: $180.00;  Starter:  $150.00.
Stabling Fees: $150.00 (includes 2 bags of shavings), Add'l bags available for $7.00 each.  Add'l nights: $25/stall.  Tack Stall: $150.00.
Stall Deposit: $25.00 (separate check per stall/per horse).
Grounds Fee: $40.00 (non-competing/non-stabled horses).
Trailer-In Fee: $40.00 (non-stabled horses).
Camping:  Hookup: (Water & Electric), $60.00 wkend;  Generator or Tent (No electric & Water): $30.00 wkend; Electric Only Pole ( end of grounds) $45.00. 
Returned Check Fee: 
$30.00.
Late Entry Fees:  $40.00
Late Change Fee:  $40.00.
Competitor Party Tickets:  $5.00 competitors (if paid with entry);  At Show:  $10.00;  Guests:  $10.00.


Entries:
Entry Fees:  a $25 non-refundable office fee is charged per entry.  BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay extra $25 with entry.  If oversubscribed, priority to USEA members.  Divisions may be further divided or combined if entries warrant.  Starter:  USEA membership/non-membership fees are waived and the USEA fees do not apply.  Preliminary and Intermediate MUST include copies of Rider, Owner and Trainer USEF membership cards.  Rider Divisions open only to competitors who have NOT completed an event above the next highest level in 5 years of the one they are entering.  Horse Divisions open only to horses that have NEVER competed at the next highest level.  Double entries:  Not accepted.  Number of riders at a competition limited by scheduling capabilities. No changes allowed in office on the Friday of event unless mandated by USEF regulations.
Late Entries:  By USEF rule:  COMPLETE entries INCLUDING payment must be in office by midnight of Closing Date, October 27th.  Any entry received with a postmark AFTER October 27 is LATE. 
Late Change Fee:  a $40 fee will be charged for any change made to entry after closing date, October 28th.  Stabling requests need to be noted by placing same name on stabling form.  Any late stabling request may not be able to be accommodated.  A separate check for stall Deposit - PER HORSE - much be included.  Entry may be snail-mailed (including original signature, entry fees, Coggins, Stabling Form, Stall Deposit check), or you may enter online through the online services of Xentry at www.useventing.com.   Credit card payment accepted online.  Negative Coggins within past 12 months required.  Any amounts owed at check-in MUST be paid with CASH.
Refunds:  Before closing date, full refund less $25 non-refundable office fee.  After closing date no refund (with exception of USEA Starter and D&M fees), unless stall is filled from waiting list.  WITHDRAWAL ACCEPTED IN WRITING, OR ACKNOWLEDGED EMAIL TO SEC'Y BEFORE CLOSING DATE.  Competition cancellation-No Refund.
USEA and D&M Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21) are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the Dressage Test. 
Competitor Information
Awards:

Trophy & 8 ribbons per division.

Stabling/Veterinarian:
210 permanent stall on grounds, 10 x 12.  Permanent iron half-gates provided on stalls.  Entries limited to stall capacity.  $150 Thursday through Sunday nights, addt'l nights $25 per stall.  Initial 2 bags shavings included.  Additional bags $7 each.  Stall deposit:  $25.  SEND SEPARATE CHECK PER HORSE.  Stalls must be STRIPPED COMPLETELY (not picked) or stall deposit check will be cashed.  A $50 fine for switching assigned stalls without permission from secretary.  Tack stalls $150.
Veterinarian: Taylor Davies, DVM 423/883-6798 on grounds through event.  Emergency number posted at office.
Accommodations:

HOST HOTEL - Special $69 rates! BEST WESTERN 865/544-7737 (EXIT 398 off of I-40). Have to reserve by calling local number and saying you are at River Glen . All other local hotels listed at www.river-glen.com. All hotels are approx. 15 miles. Please see fee section for hook-up/camping fees on grounds. PLEASE SPECIFY ON STABLING/RV FORM EARLY ARRIVAL/LATE DEPARTURE DATE/TIME. Showers available on grounds 24/7.

Dressage:
Test & arena sizes: I-2014 USEF Intermediate Test B-STD. P-2014 USEF Preliminary Test A-Sm. T-2014 USEF Training Test B-Sm. N-2014 USEF Novice Test B-Sm. BN-2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm; STARTER-2015 USDF Intro Test C.   Arenas: Footing is crushed limestone & sand. Large warm-up arena.
Cross-Country:

Intermediate:  2600-3575 m @ 550 mpm, max height 3'9.  Preliminary: 2200-3120 m @ 520 mpm, max height 3'7. PT/Training: 2000-2600 m @ 420-470 mpm, max height 3'3.  Novice: 1600-2200 m @ 350-400 mpm, max height 2'11. Beginner Novice: 1400-2000 m @ 300-350 mpm, max. height 2'7". Starter:  No speed requirement, max height 2'6. Exact distance and speed on maps at event.  Terrain:  Varied.  All courses: Average.  Water at all levels - BN crossing.
Bank, Drop, Ditch are possible at all levels.

Other Information:

Cross-country course closed November 1, 2015. Competitor packets available from secretary from noon on Thursday. Cross Country Schooling permitted after show is over on Sunday free of charge for anyone eliminated during show, with trainer present.  Others may school for a $25 charge.  Signed waiver necessary from office.  Competitor party tickets need to be purchased by everyone.  $5 for competitors, if paid with entry.  At show, $10 as available.  Children $5.
