Address: 2288 FM 18, Baird, TX 79504.
From I-20 West from Ft. Worth, EXIT 307 (the Hwy 287) go South over the hwy and at bottom of hill.-- turn right on to I-20B - Up the hill - at Courthouse turn left on to Market Street, Take first Right (you will see Bank on corner) on to F.M. 18 which you will take all the way out of town, under rail road bridge and up big hill, as you come through s turn up the hill slow down entrance on right side at the top of hill.

 I-20 East from Abilene: to exit 303, turn south under the over pass to stop sign. Turn left on FM 18 and go 2 miles, entry on left before S curves.

Thurs. Stabling opens.  
Fri:
9:00 a.m. Dressage Only TEST starts any level starts.  10:00 a.m. Show Jumping Equitation TEST - Starts with Starter Level; upper levels to follow. 3:00 p.m.  Cross-country course opens-3 p.m.
Sat: 7:30 a.m Horse Trials Dressage starts; PT and T might run cross-country, depending on # of entries.   
6:00 p.m. Corona Party BEER,WINE, and KIDDIE SNACKS Provided (within limits), Games, and Offical Lectures. Riders Tickets included with entry, extra sold on FRI. $5.00 Dinner will be served by our famous Tamale Guy, but will be handled by them alone.  ****FASHION SHOW AND FINALE!!!!!******* Fashion Teams of 3 will be a given basic start of supplies, any additional supplies to make outfit or accessories may only come from Tack Box items. One team member for each team must model said outfit. Two Teams will then be chosen for the Dramatic (10 Min quick design challenge using our own special models). Winners will take home one of a kind Prizes, and Free Schooling for the rest of the year.
(Note: It is Graduation Weekend for many and we understand you may have conflicts, so we are more than happy to make special ride times and work any issues out for all riders ---- within reason).

Sun:
8:30 a.m.- Dressage continues. 12:00 p.m. Show Jump Starts Training Level (riders may wear XC Gear). riders will have a short break between their show jumping round and xc (WE would want you to consider your show jumping round the main warm up for XC, you will have enough time to adjust anything and jump a few XC jumps before your start). Riders who did Dressage will go first to give others more time.

Monday:
9:30 a.m. Eventing Clinic with MEGAN MCGEE & Adri Lea Doyal - Sign up by Fri. p.m. ( Clinic includes 1 Ride Dressage/ Show Jump, and 2 classroom sessions.)
Starting Times:
Available the Wednesday before show. Will be Posted on Sol-Event.com and we will be using Startbox for viewing, or can be sent from Sec. if an e-mail request is sent.

Roofed Stabling:
$100.00 -  (set by entry postmark) That covers Stabling from Thursday night through Monday Night. No Bedding in stall but Shavings to be sold on grounds or pre-ordered on stabling form. Shavings $10.00 a bag. - Welcome to bring your own as well.
Grounds Fee: $35.00 (Non-stabled horses).
Entries:
Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. N competitors must be USEA members & horses must be USEA registered. BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay a $25 non-member fee with the entry. Eventing Tests-  Starter: USEF/USEA membership fees & non-membership fees /starter/D&M fees do not apply. Double entries: Not accepted. Pinny Holders available for sale on grounds $20.00 . Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee. After CD-Less $35.00 only if place can be filled from a wait list. Competition cancellation-No refund.  USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.
Neg. Coggins required within 12 months for all horses.
$15 Stall Cleaning deposit- (will be not be cashed if stalls pass look over Sunday Night).
Grounds fee for non-stabled horses $35.00.
BN is 2'7" and under.   Starter Test includes 3 Phases like horse Trials but will be at 2' height. Starter Test do not count toward AEC qualifications or USEA National Year-end awards.

Special Awards: 

Clean Pony: ribbons ( and ultimate pick of the day getting a big Clean Pony Award- will be judged during dressage.)
Dusty Bottoms- for ... the riders that have had better weekends . ( dont get this one).   
Tatum's Challenge:  Winners of the overall points in games section Saturday Night. Bonus points for dressing for the occasion!!!!
Adult Winners- get a mystery cooler (that is stocked with all the C.D.S. Favorites.
Under-age Winners - Get the Wacky Pack Prize.
Stabling/Veterinarian:
Roofed Stalls 75 Limited. $100.00 per stall, Stable filled off of postmarks of entries.  Tack stalls only available if entries allow and will be given for full stall price only. Grounds fee for non-stabled horses- $35. Stabling open Thursday night-70 stalls on grounds plus 10 outdoor pens. Stall doors provided.   Feed/Bedding/Hay available for purchase, further info from the sec´y. Veterinarian:  Dr. Harle and Callahan Co. Vet Clinic -  numbers posted at office and barn board. Farrier- Phone number posted at office and barn board.
Accommodations:

WE HAVE NO HOOK UPS ON GROUNDS. ALSO NO SHOWERS. Camping on grounds, Welcome ( but campers must use fire safe areas for any open flames and grills)  Hook-ups: 3 miles away located at Baird Motor Inn; contact sec´y for information. On grounds camping is welcome but we do not have any Hookups of any kind availible. You may run your own generators. Parking no longer near barn but in new camping/trailer parking area. Closest Hotel- Baird Motor Inn ** Best Hotel option- MCM Elegante (15 min. drive) *** with indoor pool and full services.

Dressage:
Tests and Arenas:  PT-2014 USEF Preliminary Test A-Sm.  T-2014 USEF Training Test A-Sm. N-2014 USEF Novice Test A-Sm.  BN-2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-SmStarter Test -2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test A-Sm  Intro Test-Intro Walk/Trot Test. Arenas: All Sandy soil.
Cross-Country:
PT-2250 m 420 mpm, 23 jump efforts (midlevel step t riders moving towards preliminary). T- 2150 m @ 420 mpm, 21 jumping efforts (good for first time training ride).  N-1830 m @ 375 mpm (good for first time novice rider, below max height allowed for level. BN-1750 @ 350 mpm (good for first time BN ride). Starter Test-1300m @ 300 mpm, 2'4" max ht, 13 jumping efforts. Intro Test-900 m 1' max ht, 8 jumping efforts.   All courses: Avg. open and inviting with some great move up questions. Sandy and all lanes have sand work and aerovating for all levels.

New ditch questions for all levels and Banks have been reworked in a new location.
Other Information:
Cross-country course closed May 1st.
On Grounds - will be seleted by order on entries received. Dogs must be leashed. Food (mostly Snacks) on grounds. Good resturants within 2 miles of show grounds that will stay open all weekend for riders. 

This is a small event with a backyard feel, we want all riders to know when thay are here they are Family. That said Family will sometimes get called on to help during the weekend. We enjoy working with our riders that way we can learn from you as well!!!
