Post Entries accepted through 7-26-2015 with $40 PE fee.  Some changes regarding entries and the required copies/signatures, etc. Tentative Schedule and Accommodations. Starter class will ride the 2015 USDF Intro Test C. Additional information on schooling upon conclusion of the horse trials.

Address: 1979 London Rd., New Market, TN 37820 PLEASE BE WARY OF FOLLOWING MAPQUEST OR GPS DIRECTIONS!!! (Overpass on their route may be too low for many trailers).    Knoxville and West (I-40 OR I-640 bypass): Exit 394: Turn LEFT at light at exit onto 11E. Travel east approx. 17 miles to RG sign on left of hwy (Lowery Loop Rd). On right is New Market Church. Turn left and go straight at stop sign. At Baker Rd. turn left (signs will direct you from there). Approx. 5 miles. (NOTE: Once you are on 11E, Do NOT take fork to the right that says 11W/25W).
From Dandridge and East (I-.40): Exit 417: Turn RIGHT at light at exit, onto Hwy 92. Travel North approx 10 mi. to 11E. Turn left (West) approx 6 mi. to RG sign on right at Lowery Loop Rd. Follow directions as above. Directions to RG from area hotels on website: river-glen.com.

Tentative Schedule:
Friday: Cross-country course open - 3 pm. Aerator will be used on cross-country courses. 
Saturday: Dressage-8 am; Show Jumping-10:30 am;  All 3 phases of the Starter Division. Competitor Party following Show Jumping (Complimentary).
Sunday: Cross-country-8 am.
PLEASE NOTE:  If number of horses warrant, changes to the schedule may necessitate the addition of Friday Dressage (optional for competitor) or Sat x/country.  Emails will communicate any such changes as soon as possible to competitors. The Starter Test is a one-day test. This will facilitate those who wish to trailer-in for the day. A weekend stall may be secured if available. Divisions that demand both days will take priority.
Starting Times:

Will be posted on web at www.river-glen.com by Wednesday prior to event. Results will be posted on same site within 2 days of event.

Entry fees:  A $25 non-refundable office fee is charged per entry. BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay extra $25 with entry.  If oversubscribed, priority to USEA members.  Divisions may be further divided or combined if entries warrant. Starter: USEA membership/non-membership fees are waived and the USEA Starter fee does not apply.  Preliminary and Intermediate MUST include copies of Rider, Owner and Trainer USEF membership cards.   Double entries:  Not accepted.  No changes allowed in office on the Friday of event unless mandated by USEF regulations.  
Late Entries:  By USEF rule:  COMPLETE entries INCLUDING payment must be RECEIVED IN OFFICE by the end of the day on the closing date. 
A late entry fee ($40) will be charged for any entry received after the closing date of July 14th.  A late change fee ($40) will be charged for any change made to entry after the closing date of July 14th.  
Stabling Form:   Requests need to be noted by placing same name (trainer, barn or person to be stabled with) on stabling form.  Late entry stabling requests may not be able to be accommodated.  A separate check for Stall Deposit - PER HORSE- must be included.
An entry may be snail-mailed or filled out online at https://services.useventing.com.  Payment by credit card is accepted with electronic entry through xentry. ALL ENTRIES using Xentry, must be printed and mailed to the secretary with original signatures, negative Coggins within 12 months, Stabling Form and any monies not paid online.   Any amounts owed at check-in must be paid with CASH.
Refunds:  Before closing date, full refund less $25 non-refundable office fee.  After closing date no refund (with exception of USEA Starter and D&M fees) unless stall is filled from waiting list.  WITHDRAWAL ACCEPTED IN WRITING, OR ACKNOWLEDGED EMAIL TO SEC'Y BEFORE CLOSING DATE.  Competition cancellation-No refund.  
USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy:  The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.  
Competitor Information
Awards:

Trophy & 8 ribbons per division.

Stabling/Veterinarian:
210 perm. stalls on grounds, 10 x 12;  permanent iron half/gates provided on stalls. Entries limited to stall capacity.  $150 Thursday thru Sunday nights, addt'l nights $25 per stall.  Initial 2 bags shavings included in cost.  Additional bags $7 each.   Stall deposit: $25; send separate check PER HORSE.   Stalls must be STRIPPED (not picked) or stall deposit check will be cashed. $50 fine for switching assigned stalls without permission from secretary. Tack stalls $150. No shavings provided.
Please note:  Starter division only runs Saturday.  Priority for stalls goes to divisions running entire weekend.
Veterinarian: Dr. Jennifer Miller (865-755-2132) on grounds through event. Emergency # also posted at secy's office.
Accommodations:
Host Hotel: Best Western (888) 650-5064 (at exit 398, off of I-40). Approx. 20 min. from show grounds. All other local hotels on www.river-glen.com/areainfo.htm. CAMPING: Primitive, available on grounds, RV Hook ups as well.  Please specify early arrival or late departure on stabling form.  Showers available on grounds 24/7.
Dressage:
Test & arena sizes: I-2014 USEF Intermediate Test A-Std. P-2014 USEF Preliminary Test A-Sm. T-2014 USEF Training Test A-Sm. N-2014 USEF Novice Test A-Sm. BN-2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test A-Sm. Starter-2015 USDF INTRO TEST C-Sm.   Arenas: Crushed limestone & sand. Large warm-up arena.
Cross-Country:
Cross Country courses will be aerated!!! 
I:  2600-3575 m @ 550 mpm.  Max height 3'9". P: 2200-3120 m @ 520 mpm.  Max hieght 3'7". T: 2000-2600 m @ 420-470 mpm.  Max height 3'3". N: 1600-2200 m @ 350-4000 mpm, Max height 2'11". BN: 1400-2000 m @ 300-350 mpm.   Max. height 2´7".  Starter:  Approx 1200 m @ 300 mpm/max. height 2'6".  Exact distance and speed on maps at event.  Terrain:  Varied.  All courses average.  Water at all levels - BN crossing.  Bank, Drop, Ditch are possible at all levels.
Other Information:
Cross-country course closed July 18. Competitor packets from secretary on Friday from noon 'til 5 p.m. Concessions on grounds. Dogs must be leashed. All fees owed at packet pick-up must be paid in cash or by cashier's check.                                                                            
Cross Country Schooling permitted, with trainer present, for those who are eliminated after show is over on Sunday at no charge. For others who wish to school, fee is $25. Liability forms must be signed in office.
Competitor Party on Saturday is complimentary to all...  Wine, Appetizers!!!
