PAPER NUMBER PINNIES will be in effect for cross country. Riders must bring pinny holders with them.
PAYMENT: All entry fees must be in US funds; checks must be US checks or money orders from US banks; no foreign checks. All monies paid between July 3 and July 12 must be in form of credit card/money order/cash/cashiers check (no exceptions). Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee; office fee will be billed to no-show, no-pay entries! $50 will be charged for all returned checks.
USEA MEMBERSHIP: All BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay a $25 non-member fee. All BN non-members must have a USEA ID number. All horses competign at the Beginner Novice level must be registered with at least a restricted status.
CHANGES: Any change to entry subject to $30 fee and must be in writing (fax, email or mail). Before C.D. - change of horse and/or rider and/or division allowed. After C.D. - change of horse or rider (not both) and/or division, space permitting. Absolutely no telephone withdrawals, changes or stabling requests will be accepted.
REFUNDS: Before C.D.- Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.- No refunds. Refunds processed 1 week after event. Competition cancellation-No refund. Post entry late fee after closing - $50. Any incomplete entries will be charged a $50 late fee. If space allows and post entries are accepted they will be charged $50.
USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.
ALL ENTRIES MUST INCLUDE PRINTED VALID EMAIL ADDRESS; ALL COMMUNICATIONS AFTER CLOSING DATE VIA EMAIL UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED ON ENTRY. Negative 12 month Coggins must be current through last day of competition and must accompany entry.
Prizes 1-3 place & 8 ribbons per division. Other awards TBA during the competition. Special Prizes: 1) High Point Series Award, awarded for points accumulated by competitors entered in all 3 MDHT 2014 Recognized USEA Events sponsored by Point Two. 2) The Jockey Club T.I.P. High Point Thoroughbred Awards. Cash awards for T.I.P Series High Point Winners. Rider/horse combination must participate in all three MDHT Recognized Events to be eligible for series awards. 54 permanent stalls on site with stall doors in addition there will be 50 temporary stalls in the adjoining indoor enclosure, if warranted. $75.00 per night includes one bale of straw. STRAW BEDDING ONLY! Include SEPARATE $50 check muck deposit. If Stabling and Muck fees are combined into one check, the Muck fee will not be refunded. I-3200 m @ 550 mpm. P-2700 m @ 520 mpm. T-2500 m @ 420 mpm. N-2100 m 350 mpm. BN-1800 m @ 325 mpm. Courses are on well established, rolling pasture that will be aggravated. New areas of ground have been opened up to help add flow and length. I Moderate track over rolling terrain, with bold gallop fences, terrain and accuracy questions. Good move-up for confident horse/rider combinations. P/T Moderate tracks, less complex than Week 1. Good move-up courses. P has terrain and accuracy questions, bold gallop fences. T has terrain questions that focus on the development of better balance and accuracy. N/BN Good educational and inviting tracks. Courses will have changes between Week 1 and 2.

Wine & cheese party each event day for competitors and volunteers. Concessions available on grounds. No motorized vehicles on course. Water on grounds but it is advised to bring your own. Non-competing horses require Neg. 12 month Coggins through last day of event.

DOGS: GR1301.6 will be STRICHTLY ENFORCED. There will be a $100 fine for any dog not on a leash at any time during the weekend and the owner may be asked to leave the grounds. Dogs are not permitted to be loose on competition grounds and must be on a leash or otherwise contained. Individuals must not lead dogs on a leash while mounted. Dog owners are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from their dogs’ behaviors. Dog owners failing to comply with this rule may be subject to penalty under Chapters 6 and 7, as well as issuance of warning cards.
