Address: The Virginia Horse Center, 487 Maury River Rd, Lexington, VA 24435 From I - 81 North or South: Take Exit 191 to I - 64 West for 1 mile to Exit 55 (follow signs for VA Horse Center). Right to Route 11 North. First left to Route 39, Maury River Rd. VHC 3/4 mile on left.
From I-64 East: To Exit 55, Turn Left. Go 3/10 mile, turn left on Route 39, Maury River Rd. As above.

Tentative Schedule:
Thurs: In Barns start for CCI1* and CIC2* at 10 a.m. Cross-country courses open-3 pm.  CCI1*, CIC2* briefing 3 p.m. CCI1* Horse Inspection 5 p.m.
Fri: Dressage - CIC2*, CCI1*, AI, Intermediate 9 a.m. Show jumping AI, CIC** & Intermediate jumping outdoors on top of hill 1 p.m., weather permitting. Two warm up areas available.
Sat: Dressage  ALL P, T, N, BN 8 am. Cross-country Oakhill side of the facility - AI, I, CIC2*, CCI1* 8 a.m. All P, OT and  some T divisions will run on the main complex side approx 1:00;  Show Jumping All other T/N/BN outside on top of the hill-10 am.
Sun: CCI1*, CIC2* Horse Inspection 9 a.m. Show Jumping, OT & T that ran cross country Saturday & P 8a.m.(All SJ outside on top of hill with 2 warm up areas available) CCI* show jumping approximately 12 noon. Cross-country T (that did show jumping Saturday) N, BN. 8 a.m.

HT &  CIC2*/CCI1*, Check Website for times 3 days prior www.vahorsetrials.com. CCI1*  time schedule will be tentative, made final after the first Horse Inspection. Include on entry form current e-mail address for entry status notification. Please no extra phone calls.

Entry:CIC**/CCI1*: $300.00; I, AI : $275.00; P, T, N, BN: $200.00.
Stabling: $55.00 per night (all levels).
Tack stalls: $55.00per night. 
Early arrivals: $75.00 per night Mon - Wed.  Barns open Wednesday noon 23rd. Grounds Fee: If not stabling then $15.00 per horse, per day. Non-competing horses: $50.00 plus stabling.
Changes after midnight of CD: $25.00 Changes after times set: $50.00 Changes in Show Office: $50.00.
LATE FEE: $50.00.
Entries:
All entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. All entries will receive confirmation via e-mail.  Double entries: NOT Accepted.
CCI1*& CIC2*: Athletes whose Horse’s Passport and/or Recognition Card is not correctly validated, or failing to meet other requirements for vaccination and Equine Anti-Doping and Controlled Medication control (Veterinary Regulations Article 1030) will be subject to Sanctions in accordance with Annex II of the Veterinary Regulations. Horses competing at FEI Events must comply with the requirements for Equine Influenza vaccination in accordance with the Veterinary Regulations and as summarised below.

(e.g. may enter venue after 7 August 2010)

Boosters

MINIMUM: within one year of previous booster vaccination

IF COMPETING: must be competing in the 6 months +21 days from the  previous booster vaccination

Must have been vaccinated with the 6 months +21 days before arriving at the Event

Must not compete in the 7 days after receiving a vaccination

 Foreign Horses must have an Official FEI Passport. FEI passport is not required for U.S Horses, but a USEF National Passport is required for all U.S. CCI1* Horses. VET. REGS. APPENDIX VI:  All CCI1* & CIC** Riders & Horses must be recorded with the FEI, USEF, USEA. Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D-No refund. USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the
dressage test. Competition cancellation-No refund. Neg. Coggins within 12 months required for all horses. Non-competing horses are welcome on grounds. $50.00 per horse, plus appropriate stabling fees. Must sign waiver in office and be issued a non-competing horse number. Riding will be restricted to published times and areas . Absolutely NO ATV's allowed at VHC.  Absolutely no motorized vehicles on Cross Country courses at any time. All Withdrawals must be made in writing, postmarked, emailed, or faxed, no later than Closing Date. All changes to entry must be made in writing before C.D. Any change to entry/stabling /post entries after C.D. a processing fee will be charged as detailed above. Attn: VAHT on entry envelope. ABSOLUTELY NO TELEPHONE WITHDRAWALS, CHANGES, OR STABLING REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Competitor Information
Awards:
CCI1*:  Special awards for Best Conditioned and Best Turned Out. Trophy and 6 ribbons. CIC2*Trophy and 6 ribbons. Junior/Young Rider Team Challenge:  Prizes, Team ribbons thru 6th place. HT: Prizes and 6 ribbons.
Stabling/Veterinarian:

All Horses Checking in at Stabling office MUST show a current cogs and Health Certicate on horse traveling over state line, before be allowed to unload.  Horses requiring additional stabling nights  must e-mail ahead for arrangements; early arrival fee $75.00. ALL tack stalls $55.00 per night. HT $55.00 per night /day all stalls from noon thursday to 9 pm Sunday. Layover additional fees require call ahead to arrange. 800 permanent stalls on grounds. Stall doors provided, no initial bedding provided. Feed/hay/bedding available for purchase. All entries must have a stabling form. All stabling requests must be in writing by closing date. Additional requests after CD subject to $50 processing fee. Absolutely No changes in stabling, after Oct. 29. Any horses found in unassigned stalls will be fined $100.00 must move and pay fine before Dressage! Bedding-Straw & shavings only! Book early, busy college weekend. Complete listing of accommodations can be found on website, www.vahorsetrials.com. 1000 rooms up to 5 miles from event. Rooms Blocked at Howard Johnsons 540 463 9181, Comfort Inn Virginia Horse Center, 540 463 7311, Best Western Plus at Hunt Ridge 540 464 1500, Best Western Lexington Inn, 540 458 3020. §Camping: The Virginia Horse Center has 78 Camping Spots with 30/50amp electric and water hookups. Reservations can be made online at [email protected] under the facilities link, as well as reservations for Golf Carts.  Selection of reserved site is still first come, first served upon arrival. Camping without reservations will be permitted if there are vacancies. Questions can be directed to [email protected]   or 540-464-2966. NO prepay or reservations accepted via entry form.
Dressage:
Test & arena sizes: CCI1*-2015 FEI  Eventing One Star Test A-Std.  CIC2*:  2015 FEI  Eventing Two Star Test B-Std, All I-2014 USEF Intermediate Test B-Std. All P-2014 USEF Preliminary Test A-Sm. All T-2014 USEF Training Test A-Sm. All N-2014 USEF Novice Test A-Sm. All BN-2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test A-Sm.  Arenas: Bluestone/Perma-flex mix. or Fibre-sand mix
Cross-Country:
CCI1*: Cross-Country - 4030 meters @520 mpm. Good introduction to the * level. Expect two water complexes, corners, banks, drops, gates, coops, brushes, and rolling terrain. CIC2* & I: Cross-Country - 3570 meters @ 550mpm. Expect two water complexes, corners, banks, drops, gates, coops, brushes, and rolling terrain.   P-2600 m @ 520 mpm; expect water, banks, ditches, corners and skinnies.  All T-2300 m @ 450 mpm, expect water, banks, ditches, angled combinations. All N-2000m @ 400 m, expect water, banks , ditch/log, combination. All BN- 1800m @ 350mpm, expect water, intro ditch, step up . All courses: rolling terrain.  All tracks will be aerated.All distances are approx and will be confirmed at the event
Other Information:

If entries allow and Weather permitting Show Jumping will be outdoors on top of hill with two warm up areas.
Absolutely NO ATVs allowed at VHC. No motorized vehicles on the cross country course
Cross-country courses only available for schooling at VHT Starter HT.
Levels may be divided or combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry.
PH open to horses never to have completed above the Intermediate level.
TH open to horses never to have completed above Preliminary level.
JT open to competitors through the end of their 18th birthday year.
NH open to horses never to have completed above the Training level.
JN open to competitors through the end of their 18th birthday year. 
Food available on grounds. 
Dogs must be leashed. Unleashed dogs will be fined $50 . Will be enforced by security.
