From I-70: Route 470/291 south to 470 west, exit at Raytown Road, South to Highgrove Road. Left to 4-way stop, also Raytown Road. Left to Horse Park Driveway (approx 1 mile on right).
From West: Route 435 East then follow Route 470 East to Raytown Road South then as above.
North: Route 435 South (east side of KC) to 470 East to 
Raytown Road South then as above.
From South: 71 Highway to Grandview, MO - Main Street Exit. East for 2.6 miles to second 4-way stop. Left at second Raytown Road.

Entry: Starter: $175.00 if payment is received or postmarked on or before closing date; $225 if payment is received after closing date; $120 if payment is postmarked ON opening day. 
Combined Test: $120.00 (P, T, N, BN, and Starter) if payment received or postmarked by closing date; $170 if postmarked or received after closing date.
Stabling: $125.00.
Grounds fee: $50.00 (non-stabled horses).
NSF for denied check or payment: $35.00.

Preliminary entries must include copies of USEF membership cards for rider, trainer, and owner.  Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. Double entries: Not accepted. BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay $25 non-member fee. If oversubscribed, priority given to USEA members. $35 returned check fee. $25 fee for lost pinny. Pinny fee will be billed after the event. There will be an Express Check In line for competitors who have submitted complete entries.  Refunds: Before closing date=Less $25 non-refundable fee; After closing date but before 5/3/15=refund of stabling fees less $25 admin fee; After 5/3/15=If stabling is sold out and stall can be reassigned, stabling fees less $25 admin fee will be refunded. Competition cancellation- Refund excluding competition expenses. USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.
Neg. Coggins within 12 months required for all horses (include copy with entry) & 30 day health certificate required (for horses arriving from out of the state of Missouri only) within 30 days to be presented to show secretary upon arrival.
MCPC will also offer a Combined Test (Dressage and Show Jumping) for levels: Starter, Beg Nov, Novice, Training and Prelim. USEA Membership is not required at any CT level, but non-USEA members must pay a $25 USEA Non-member fee that must accompany the entry. CT participants are exempt from the USEA Starter/D&M Fee. All Dressage tests for CT are the same as horse trials; Starter participants are exempt from the USEA Starter/D&M Fee and USEA Membership/Non-Membership Fees are waived. Starter Division Dressage Test = USDF Intro Test B.  Entry fees $125/entry. Stabling is $125/stall. To enter, please use the USEA Entry Form and note "Combined Test" at the top. CT entries will be accepted thru closing date.   

Competitor Information

New increased cash prizes in 2015 for Preliminary Division!!!  $500 for first place, $250 for second place and $100 for third place. Cash prizes for Training, Novice, and Beginner Novice: $100 first place, $50 second place, and $25 third place (overall division placing).  8 ribbons per class. Cash prize for Starter Division: $50 first place, $25 second place and $15 for third place.
Other non monetary prizes: TBD.  
The Jockey Club's Thoroughbred Incentive Program (TJC T.I.P) is offering the following prize money: (PENDING APPROVAL)

New for 2015: Mill Creek Team Challenge! Submit team listing (4 members per team, top 3 scores count) and team name by 10:00 am on Saturday 5/9/15 to secretary. Fabulous prizes for all team members 1st through 3rd place after cross-country (includes dressage and cross-country scores). Prizes to be awarded at pizza party after cross-country in competitors' tent. Check htttp:// for specific prize listings after 1/1/15. 

LIMITED stabling. $125/stall from 11 am, Friday to 5 pm, Sunday. 115 perm wooden stalls/no temps available. Off grounds stabling offered. Stalls assigned by order of receipt of entry fees. Stall doors/initial bedding only provided.  Limited extra shavings available on site ($10/bale). Competitors are encouraged to bring their own extra shavings. $50 grounds fee, if not stabled.   Indoor restrooms with running water and showers on site.  Additional port-a-potties near warm up and barn areas.  Veterinarian: TBA, # will be posted at secretary's tent.  Farrier:  Stan Tracz (816)804-6788 - will be on site at south end of Barn B.  Midwest Region of USPC is holding their Eventing Rally in conjunction with our horse trials.  Early entry is HIGHLY suggested to ensure stall availability as 2014 stalls were sold out.  Overflow stabling provided by Holsman Stables (816-918-6495) or

Test & arena sizes: P-2014 USEF Preliminary Test A-Sm. T-2014 USEF Training B-Sm. N-2014 USEF Novice Test B-Sm. BN-2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test B -Sm. Starter: USDF Intro B Test. Arenas: Sand. Warm-up: Sand.
P-2740 m @ 520 mpm. T-2350 m @ 470 mpm. N-1950 m @ 400 mpm. BN-1760 m @ 350 mpm; BN max. 2'9".  Starter Division 1300 m @ 275 mpm with 10-11 inviting obstacles (max height 2'; max width without height of 30").  Newly Modified tracks 2015.  Appropriate courses for spring event.  Courses include banks, water, ditches in Beginner Novice thru Preliminary.   Open, rolling terrain.  Average difficulty for horses and riders with some experience at each of the division levels.

Cross-country course officially closed 4:00 Sunday, 4/26/15 until course walk at 3:00 pm on 5/8/15.
Pizza party (approximately 45 minutes after last cross-country rider) in competitors' tent - entry includes 1 ticket for pizza. Extra tickets $5 per person (please include reservation with entry - only limited number can be purchased Saturday of event).
Open schooling dates set for March 21 & 22,  April 11 & 12, and April 18 & 19, 2015. Please check for information regarding rain out/footing/weather issues.

Levels may be divided/combined if entries warrant; state preferences under Eligible Section and birth date on entry.  If riding more than one horse be prepared for a tight schedule.

Dogs must be leashed under Jackson County Park ordinances.
