Weds: Barns open at Noon.
 Cross-country courses open-3 pm. CCI1* First Horse Inspection 3:00 PM 
Fri: Dressage-9 am  CIC2*, CCI1* ,I; Show Jumping I, CIC2*noon. Weather permitting SJ outside on top of hill. 
Dressage P/T/N/BN  8 am. Cross-country Oakhill side of the facility - CIC2*,CCI1*, I. P & some T divisions will run on the main complex side approx 1:00;  Show Jumping weather permitting SJ outside on hill, T/N/BN -10 am.
Sun: Third Horse inspection 9:00 AM Show Jumping: CCI1* , P, training divs that ran XC on Sat; Cross-country (T/N/BN)-9 am.

Non-competing horses: $50.00 plus stabling

Athletes whose Horse’s Passport and/or Recognition Card is not correctly validated, or failing to meet other requirements for vaccination and Equine Anti-Doping and Controlled Medication control (Veterinary Regulations Article 1030) will be subject to Sanctions in accordance with Annex II of the Veterinary Regulations.

Horses competing at FEI Events must comply with the requirements for Equine Influenza vaccination in accordance with the Veterinary Regulations and as summarised below.






Primary Course


1st Vaccination: day 0

First Booster

Within 7 months of the 2nd vaccination of the Primary Course

Must not compete in the 7 days after receiving a vaccination

(e.g. may enter venue after 7 August 2010)


MINIMUM: within one year of previous booster vaccination

IF COMPETING: must be competing in the 6 months +21 days from the  previous booster vaccination

Must have been vaccinated with the 6 months +21 days before arriving at the Event

Must not compete in the 7 days after receiving a vaccination

Foreign Horses must have an Official FEI Passport. FEI passport is not required for U.S Horses, but a USEF National Passport is required for all U.S. CCI1* Horses. VET. REGS. APPENDIX VI:  All CCI1* & CIC** Riders & Horses must be recorded with the FEI, USEF, USEA. Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D-No refund.  USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test. Competition cancellation-No refund. Neg. Coggins within 12 months required for all horses. Non-competing horses are welcome on grounds. $50.00 per horse, plus appropriate stabling fees. Must sign waiver in office and be issued a non-competing horse number. Riding will be restricted to published times and areas . Absolutely NO ATV's allowed at VHC.  Absolutely no motorize vechiles on Cross Country courses at any time. All Withdrawals must be made in writing, postmarked, emailed, or faxed, no later than Closing Date. All changes to entry must be made in writing before C.D., any change to entry stats/stabling /post entries after C.D. a processing fee will be charged according to chart above. Attn: VAHT on entry envelope. ABSOLUTELY NO TELEPHONE WITHDRAWALS, CHANGES, OR STABLING REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Competitor Information
CCI1* & CIC2*:  Special award for Best Conditioned horse and Best Turned Out rider,Gifts & 10 ribbons, completion ribbons  Area II Championships Winners cooler, 10 ribbons and gifts , Friendly ATC Gifts and team ribbons thru 8.  HTs Gifts & 6 ribbons.
$50.00 per day/night. Barns open up noon Thursday. Early arrivals=$ 65 per night/day; layover additional fees require call ahead to arrange. 800 perm. stalls on grounds. Stall doors provided, no initial bedding provided. Feed/Hay/Bedding available for purchase. All entries must have a stabling form. All stabling requests must be in writing by C.D., additional requests after C.D. subject to $40 processing fee. College Team will be issue a free tack stall for a team of four. ABSOLUTELY NO CHANGES IN STABLING after Oct 28. Any horses found in unassigned stalls will be fined $100, must move & pay fine before dressage! Bedding: Straw & shavings only! Book early, busy college weekend. Complete listing of accommodations can be found on website, good deals. 1000 rooms up to 5 miles from event. Camping: The Virginia Horse Center has 78 Camping Spots with 30/50amp electric and water hookups. Reservations can be made online at [email protected] under the facilities link. Selection of reserved site is still first come, first served upon arrival. Camping without reservations will be permitted if there are vacancies. Test & arena sizes: CCI1*-2009 FEI Eventing One-star Test B-Std. CIC2*-2014 FEI  Eventing Two-star Test B-Std.     All I & ICH-2014 USEF Intermediate Test B-Std. All OP and PCH - 2014 Preliminary Test B Std. All P & Friendly ATC-2014 USEF Preliminary Test A -Sm. All T & TCH, Friendly ATC-2014 USEF Training Test B-Sm. All N & NCH & Friendly ATC-2014 USEF Novice Test B-Sm. All BN & BNCH & Friendly ATC-2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm.  Arenas: Bluestone/Perma-flex mix.
CCI1*- 4300m @520 mpm. Good introduction to the * level. Expect two water complexes, corners, banks, drops, gates, coops, brushes, and rolling terrain. CIC2* & I- [email protected]. Rolling terrain, Expect two water complexes, corners, banks, drops, skinnies, tech questions. OP & PCH - 3100m @ 520mpm over abreviated CCI* course.  P-3000 m @ 520 mpm; expect water, banks, ditches, corners and skinnies. All T-2300 m @ 450 mpm, expect water, banks, ditches, angled combinations. All N-2100m @ 400 m, expect water, banks , ditch/log, combination. All BN- 1900m @ 350mpm, expect water, intro ditch, step up . All courses: rolling terrain.  All tracks will be aerated if necessary.
Other Information:

Absolutely NO ATVs allowed at VHC. No motorized vehicle on the cross country course
 Levels may be divided or combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry.
PH open to horses never to have completed above the Intermediate level.
TH open to horses never to have completed above Preliminary level.
JT open to competitors through the end of their 18th birthday year.
NH open to horses never to have completed above the Training level.
JN open to competitors through the end of their 18th birthday year.

Friendly ATC's Team Dinner and Draw for times Thursday at 7:00. each team member and one coach rec' tickets. Additional tickets available 
$25.00 need to know by closing date for planning meal. Cash Bar available at 6:30.
Area II Championship - Welcome Dinner Friday evening 6:30 all competitors rec's one ticket additional tickets available $20.00  need to know by Closing date for planning meal.

Competitors BONFIRE , Saturday evening, one ticket per rider, extra tickets available at office-$15.00. 

Dogs must be leashed. Unleashed dogs will be fined $50 . Will be enforced by security.
