TR&HC announces TEAM COMPETITION

Get into the spirit...TEAM SPIRIT !!  Teams consist of 3-4 riders competing in the same division (P, T, N, BN, or Starter).  The best 3 weighted scores will be used to determine the final team standings.  Write your TEAM NAME on your entry form.  If you wish to be put on a team, email the secretary and every effort will be made to find you a team.  Team ribbons awarded to 3rd place in each division.  Grand prize will be awarded to the
high point winners of each division from the 2014 FENCE Spring Horse Trials and the TR&HC Fall Horse Trials.  No additional fees to compete as a team.  

COLLEGE TEAM CHALLENGE  Enter your college team (may be across divisions) for the College Team Grand Prize, awarded to all
members of the First Place Team.  No additional fees.

Address: 3381 Hunting Country Rd, Tryon, NC 28782.
From I-26: Exit Landrum SC(#1). Hwy 14 towards Landrum for 1.5mi.; Right on Bomar; One block, turn right on Prince Rd. Go 1.7mi to left on Hunting Country Rd just before crossing I-26. Stabling on Left 8/10mi. Competition at Foothills Equestrian Nature Center. All turns marked by FENCE signs.

Entry: All recognized divisions BN - P: $185.00; Intro: $120.00 
Non-Competing horses: $25 must register with secretary and wear a bridle tag at all times while on grounds. 
Stabling: $120.00.  Addit'l night: $20.00
Tack Stalls: $60.00
Grounds fee: $20.00
Bedding: $7.50 
Camping: $50.00
Entries:
Entry fee includes a $25 non-refundable office fee. Double Entries not accepted. USEA membership required at all levels including Novice. BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay extra $25 with entry. If oversubscribed, priority given to USEA members. Starter competitors are exempt from USEA Membership/non-membership fees and starter/d&m fees. Refunds: Before CD-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After CD- Entry/Stabling- Less $25 ONLY if place filled from waiting list. Competition Cancellation-No refund. USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.
Withdrawals must be in writing, emailed or faxed. Any changes after Sept. 2, 2014 subject to $15 change fee. Current USEF card must accompany P entries. Competitors check website for entry status & times: www.trhcevents.org.

Preliminary -- 1st Place -- $1,000., 2nd -- $300., 3rd -- $200., 4th-6th place -- $100.
Training -- 1st Place -- $900., 2nd -- $250., 3rd -- $150., 4th-6th place -- $100.
Novice -- 1st Place -- $800., 2nd -- $250., 3rd -- $150., 4th-6th place -- $75.
Beginner Novice -- 1st Place -- $700., 2nd -- $150., 3rd -- $100., 4th-6th place -- $75.
Starter-- 1st Place -- $100., 2nd -- $50., 3rd -- $25., 4th place -- $25.

Other prizes will be awarded, 6 ribbons. Awards after completion of each division. 
Stabling/Veterinarian:
Limited. (300 perm. 10 x 10 stalls w/doors on grounds). $120/stall from noon on Fri. to 6pm Sun; $60/Tack Stall.  $20/additional night. Grounds fee for horse entered but not stabling on grounds, $20.  Non-competitng horse must be stabled or pay grounds fee.  All horses on grounds must be entered or registered as Non-competing.  No portable stalls allowed. NO initial bedding provided. Order bedding on stabling form ($7.50/bag): Extra bedding available from office. Veterinarian: On grounds, # posted with Secretary and on Scoreboard.

Cross-Country:

P-2500m @ 520 mpm. T-2400m @ 420 mpm. N-2000m @ 350 mpm. BN-2000m @ 325 mpm, max fence height 2'7". Terrain: Hilly, fields. All courses: Average, for horses with some experience at these levels. BN includes bank and "pass through" water.  Intro Division approx 1200 m @275 mpm, max fence height 2'3" optional "pass through" at water

Cross-country courses closed August 24th.
