Directions:
Address: 1979 London Rd., New Market, TN 37820 PLEASE BE WARY OF FOLLOWING MAPQUEST OR GPS DIRECTIONS!!! (Overpass on their route may be too low for many trailers).    Knoxville and West (I-40 OR I-640 bypass): Exit 394: Turn LEFT at light at exit onto 11E. Travel east approx. 17 miles to RG sign on left of hwy (Lowery Loop Rd). On right is New Market Church. Turn left and go straight at stop sign. At Baker Rd. turn left (signs will direct you from there). Approx. 5 miles. (NOTE: Once you are on 11E, Do NOT take fork to the right that says 11W/25W).
From Dandridge and East (I-.40): Exit 417: Turn RIGHT at light at exit, onto Hwy 92. Travel North approx 10 mi. to 11E. Turn left (West) approx 6 mi. to RG sign on right at Lowery Loop Rd. Follow directions as above. Directions to RG from area hotels on website: river-glen.com.

Tentative Schedule:
Thurs: Cross-country course open-3 pm. Aerator will be used on Cross/Country courses.
Fri: Dressage.   Competitors Wine & Cheese Welcome-6 pm.  
Sat: Dressage-8 am; Show Jumping-10:30 am; All 3 phases of the Starter Division.  Competitors´ Dinner following. 
Sun: Cross-country-8 am 
PLEASE NOTE:  If number of horses warrant, changes to the schedule may necessitate the addition of Friday Dressage or Sat x/country.  Emails will communicate any such changes as soon as possible to competitors. 
                                                  
Starting Times:

Will be posted on web at www.river-glen.com by Wednesday prior to event. Results will be posted on same site within 2 days of event.

Party Tickets:  $5.00 competitors (If paid with entry).  All others $10 at show.
Entries:
Entry Fees:  a $25 non-refundable office fee is charged per entry.  BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay extra $25 with entry.  If oversubscribed, priority to USEA members.  Divisions may be further divided or combined if entries warrant.  Starter: USEA membership/non-membership fees are waived and the USEA Starter fees do not apply.  Preliminary and Intermediate MUST include copies of Rider, Owner and Trainer USEF membership cards.  Rider Divisions open only to competitors who have NOT completed an event above the next highest level in 5 years of the one they are entering.  Horse Divisions open only to horses that have NEVER completed at the next highest level.  Double entries:  Not acccepted.  No more than 4 horses per rider at competition.  No changes allowed in office on the Friday of event unless mandated by USEF regulations.
Late Entries:  By USEF rule:  COMPLETE entries INCLUDING payment must be POSTMARKED BY Closing Date.  Any entry received with a postmark AFTER July  15th is LATE.  Late entries with a postmark date within 7 days of closing date (July  15th) will incur a $30 fee;  any entries postmarked after that, a $40 fee.
Late Change Fee:  $40 will be charged for any change made to entry after closing date, July 15th.  Stabling requests need to be noted by placing same name on stabling form.  Any late stabling request may not be able to be accommodated.  a separate check for Stall Deposit - PER HORSE - must be included. Entry may be snail-mailed (including original signature, entry fees, Coggins, Stabling Form, Stall Deposit check), or you may enter online @ www.evententries.com.  Credit card payment accepted.  Negative Coggins within past 12 months required.  Any amounts owed at check-in MUST be paid with CASH.
Refunds:  Before closing date, full refund less $25 non-refundable office fee.  After closing date no refund (with exception of USEA Starter and D*M fees), unless stall is filled from waiting list.  WITHDRAWAL ACCEPTED IN WRITING, OR ACKNOWLEDGE EMAIL TO SEC'Y BEFORE CLOSING DATE.  Competition cancellation-No Refund.
USEA and D&M Refund Policy:  The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.
Competitor Information
Awards:

Trophy & 8 ribbons per division.

Stabling/Veterinarian:
210 permanent stalls on grounds, 10 x 12.  Permanent iron half/gates provided on stalls.  Entries limited to stall capacity.  $150 Thursday thru Sunday nights, addt'l nights $25 per stall.  Initial 2 bags shavings included in cost.  Additional bags $7 each.  Stall deposit:  $25; send separate check PER HORSE.  Stalls must be STRIPPED COMPLETELY (not picked) or stall deposit check will be cashed.  $50 fine for switching assigned stalls without permission from secretary.  Tack stalls $150.
Veterinarian:  Dr. Jennifer Miller (865-755-2132) on grounds through event.  Emergency # also posted at office.
Accommodations:
HOST HOTEL-Special rates! Comfort Suites 865/246-2426 (Exit 398);   All other local hotels listed at www.river-glen.com.  Majority of hotels are approx. 15 miles.
CAMPING:  Primitive, available on grounds, RV Hook ups as well.  Please specify early arrival or late departure on stabling forms.  Showers available on grounds 24/7.
Dressage:
Test & arena sizes: I-2014 USEF Intermediate Test A-Std. P-2014 USEF Preliminary Test A-Sm. T-2014 USEF Training Test A-Sm. N-2014 USEF Novice Test A-Sm. BN-2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test A-Sm. Starter-2011 USDF INTRO TEST C-Sm.   Arenas: Crushed limestone & sand. Large warm-up arena.
Cross-Country:
Cross Country courses will be aerated!!! 
I:  2600-3575 m @ 550 mpm.  Max height 3'9". P: 2200-3120 m @ 520 mpm.  Max hieght 3'7". T: 2000-2600 m @ 420-470 mpm.  Max height 3'3". N: 1600-2200 m @ 350-4000 mpm, Max height 2'11". BN: 1400-2000 m @ 300-350 mpm.   Max. height 2´7".  Starter:  Approx 1200 m @ 300 mpm/max. height 2'6".  Exact distance and speed on maps at event.  Terrain:  Varied.  All courses average.  Water at all levels - BN crossing.  Bank, Drop, Ditch are possible at all levels.
Other Information:

Cross-country course closed July 18. Competitor packets from secretary on Friday from noon 'til 5 p.m. Concessions on grounds. Dogs must be leashed. All fees owed at packet pick-up must be paid in cash or by cashier's check.  Competitor party tickets need to be purchased by everyone.  $5 for competitors, if paid with entry.  At show, $10 as available.  Children $5.                                                                          
Cross/country schooling permitted after show with trainer present.  Liability waivers necessary from office.
