Welcome to the Wizardly World of Catalpa Corner Charity Horse Trials. This year, come join the fun with a Harry Potter inspired Horse Trial!
Enter through Catalpa Gargoyle Gates, check in and be sorted into your House. Join us for Saturday dinner in the Great Barn with levitating candles, and a young rider activity of wand making. Our new stadium course will depict your favorite magical scenes. Finally, join with your friends to form Teams to compete for the Catalpa Corner Wizard's Cup.

New this year: Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.)  Eligible horses must provide T.I.P. numbers to event secretary with entry. For more information, visit www.tjctip.com.

Entries:
Entries are considered complete only when entry, signatures (including rider, owner and trainer), fees, negative Coggins papers and other relevant information (including emergency contact and horse/rider experience) are received by the secretary.  Emailed, faxed, "smart phone," and double entries not accepted. Withdrawals accepted by email before 9 p.m. on the closing date, no phone withdrawals. No changes to entry starting Tuesday before the event. Post entries accepted if space available; must pay $50 late feeall checks/funds postmarked after close date will be charged this $50 Post entry fee.
Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. Stallion entry by permission of organizer only - additional tack stall required.
Team: Join with friends to form a Team to vie for the Low Point Catalpa Corner Wizard's Cup. A Team is 4 riders.  Team are composed from ALL levels of participation (Starter-Prelim), and ALL levels within Team (Starter-Prelim).  Send rider/horse names, divisions and Name of Team, with $20/Team check to secretary with entry, or on arrival.
StarterStarter Competitors are exempt from USEA Membership/non-membership fees and USEA Drug Fee. Please do not send USEA starter fee or drug fees, ($21)
BNBN competitors who are not USEA members must pay extra $25 with entry.
Preliminary:  All P entries, owners, rider, trainer and agents must show proof of USEF membership, or pay $30 non-member fee.

Refunds: Before Closing Date-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After Closing Date-Entry-Less $30 only if place can be filled from wait list, usually credit toward future event.  Stable-No refund. No telephone withdrawals accepted, emails only.  Competition cancellation-No refund. USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.
Health Certificate and Coggins: In State: negative Coggins dated within 12 months. Out of State: Health Certificate dated within 30 days of competition and negative Coggins dated within 12 months.

The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P) is offering ribbons, prizes, and prize money to the top placing Thoroughbred at each level, BN through P. The reserve highest place Thoroughbred will receive a ribbon.

49 permanent stalls on grounds; stall doors provided, otherwise temporary stalls on grounds with fronts, electric hook up, 10 x 10.

Cross-Country:
Plans are in place to extend prelim distance, enlarge water complex and reverse course with new jumps at each level. Changes are conditional due to weather and approval of CD pending design. Aerovation of galloping lanes, and rings, if needed. 
P-3200m @ 520mpm  T-2200m @ 420 mpm  N-2000m @ 400 mpm. BN-1800m @ 350 mpm. Covered bridge, galloping flats, hills, wooded, pastoral, banks, steps, water complex, dew pond, and sunken road.  P - forward and educational course. T -  educational with water, dew pond, steps, bank and stream N - natural fences, combination, corner, two stride steps/option, water complex, dew pond and terrain.
Our course design for Starter and BN is to provide a quiet, safe ,diverse/educational, and enjoyable/fun X-country course! BN - Natural fences, water complex, dew pond and terrain.  Starter: Natural fences to 2ft, dew pond/and or water with terrain.

Concessions on grounds during show hours 
Golf cart drivers must be 18 years old
No unauthorized motorized vehicles on X-C
Dogs must be leashed; Please no dogs on the cross-country course during Saturday competition
