From I-70 in MD: exit # 54 onto MD-355 South/ URBANA PIKE. Turn right onto Park Mills Road. Event is 6.4 miles on right.

PAPER NUMBER PINNIES WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR CROSS COUNTRY. RIDERS MUST BRING PINNY HOLDER WITH THEM. All entry fees must be in US funds; checks must be US checks or money orders from US banks; no foreign checks. All monies paid between July 1 and July 12 must be in form of credit card/money order/cash/cashiers check (no exceptions) Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. All BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay a $25 non-member fee. $50.00 will be charged for any returned checks. Any change to entry subject to $30 fee and must be in writing (fax, email or mail). Before C.D. - change of horse and/or rider and/or division allowed. After C.D. - change of horse or rider (not both) and/or division, space permitting. Absolutely no telephone withdrawals, changes or stabling requests will be accepted. ALL ENTRIES MUST INCLUDE PRINTED VALID EMAIL ADDRESS; ALL COMMUNICATIONS AFTER CLOSING DATE VIA EMAIL UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED ON ENTRY. Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.- No refunds. Refunds processed 1 week after event. Competition cancellation-No refund. Neg. 12 month Coggins must be current through last day of competition and must accompany entry. Post entry late fee after closing - $50. Any incomplete entries will be charged a $50 late fee. Prizes 1 -3 place & 8 ribbons per division. Other awards TBA during the competition. Special prizes - High point series cash award, awarded for points accumulated by competitors entered in all 3 MDHT 2013 Recognized USEA Events.
54 permanent stalls in addition there will be 50 temporary stalls in the adjoining indoor enclosure, if warranted. $75 per night includes one bale of straw. STRAW BEDDING ONLY! Include a SEPARATE $50 check muck deposit. Competitors wishing to stay for the week, call (301) 514-0111. Bedding/Hay available for purchase ONLY if preordered on stabling form. Limited # of electric (only) hook-ups around stabling, $40/night.

Test & arena sizes: I - 2010 USEF Intermediate Test A - Std. P-2010 USEF Preliminary Test A- Sm. T- 2010 USEF Training Test A- Sm. N- 2010 USEF Novice Test A- Sm. BN- 2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test A -Sm. Dressage Arenas and warm ups: all-weather footing.
I-3200 m @ 550 mpm. P-2600 m @ 520 mpm. T-2400 m @ 420 mpm. N-2000 m 350 mpm. BN-1600 m @ 325. mpm. Footing is old established turf, good footing that will be aggravated and watered. OI Moderate track over rolling terrain, with bold gallop fences, terrain and accuracy questions. Good move up for confident horse/rider combinations. P/T Challenging tracks, P has terrain and accuracy questions. T has terrain qustions that focus on the development of better balance and accuracy. Both T and P are good tracks for horses and riders that are looking to move up in the future, for confident horse/rider combinations. BN/N Rolling terrain. Good confidence building and educational courses. Courses will be different from week 1 and 2 with the idea of good move up courses for confident horse/rider combinations. SJ and Dressage Arenas and warm ups: all-weather footing.
New tracks, changes to water jump, features on the xctry course for 2013. Competition Cross-country course open for schooling for the week of July 15. 10a – 6 p. weather permitting. All dogs must be leashed per USEF rule GR 301.6. Failure to comply may result in elimination and $100 fine. No dogs on course. Concessions available on grounds. No motorized vehicles on course. Water on grounds but it is advised to bring your own. Non-competing horses require Neg. 12 month Coggins through last day of event.
