March 27-28: Designer Builders Stable View Spring CCI-S - Canceled
Released March 16

As a result of advice from the CDC, Stable View has decided to postpone the Designer Builders CCI-S 1*, 2*, 3*, 4* that was to be held on March 28th and 29th. We feel that in spite of overwhelming support from riders at all levels, the CDC’s advice is unequivocal in a manner that was not present with previous guidance.

Riders will be repaid in full, all entry, stabling, bedding, and accommodations fees ASAP.

Unlike certain other facilities, eventing at Stable View is not crowd sourced, thus with few spectators it was considered unlikely that contamination would occur.

At this time we would like to thank many riders, owners, grooms and those in the eventing community who supported our stand. We will run future dates on our eventing calendar ASAP.

Please contact 484-356-3173 or email info[email protected] with further questions.

March 27-29: Galway Downs International H.T. - Canceled/Postponed
Released March 19

Given the ongoing situation related to the COVID-19, we feel it’s our responsibility to comply with the most recent CDC directives.

Out of an abundance of caution and respect for our competitors we’ve made the difficult but necessary proactive decision to cancel our unrecognized March 27-28 Preliminary-Introductory Horse Trials and we await alignment on the CDC and County restrictions for our May 1-3 International Event. With all the changes it is likely we will be applying for another date to help prepare riders for what is left of the eventing year.

The progression of decisions was all aligned with the interest and safety of our competitors as our number one priority.

We appreciate a great deal of support for all of our decisions in this time of unprecedented uncertainty for absolutely everyone involved.

We will be reaching out to each competitor who entered personally to inform them of this decision and also discuss their credit options.

Thank you,
Kellerhouse Presents Team

March 27-29: Texas Rose Horse Park H.T. - Postponed (Tentative Reschedule Date: June 20-21, 2020)

March 27-29: Rocking Horse Spring H.T. - Canceled
Released March 16

Due to The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) calling for the cancellation of in-person events of 50 or more people for the next 8 weeks, Rocking Horse has decided to cancel the scheduled show on March 28-29, 2020. If a competitor decides at any time to scratch their Spring entry before the start of the show, they will be issued a full refund on their entry or it can be forwarded to a future schooling show or recognized show. Please take a moment and notify us how you’d like to proceed with your entry: email us at [email protected]

We will continue to monitor the situation and if any changes should be made, we will be sure to notify you all immediately! Stay safe! Thank you – Rocking Horse Staff

March 28-29: Morven Park Spring H.T. - Canceled
Released March 14

Out of an abundance of caution and compliance with the USEF and USEA requests to suspend equestrian competition, the 2020 Morven Park Spring Horse Trials will be canceled. The annual eventing competition has been held since 1974 and sees hundreds of equestrians competing in dressage, show jumping, and cross-country at one of the first recognized competitions of the season. Spring Horse Trials was scheduled to be held March 28 and 29 at the Morven Park International Equestrian Center.

“In our 46 years of hosting Horse Trials we’ve never had to cancel before,” said Sheryl Williams, Morven Park’s Executive Director. “We’ve seen rainstorms, out of season temperatures, and even a little snow, but there’s no way to weather this. We share in the disappointment felt by the riders that were scheduled to compete, and the owners, trainers, volunteers, and sponsors who have been so supportive of the Morven Park Horse Trials over the years.”

Due to the extenuating circumstances of this cancellation, Morven Park has chosen not to follow the protocol stated in our Omnibus listing and will issue everyone a full refund for their entry and stabling. There will be no administrative fee taken from your refund. Please email sfrankl[email protected] with the correct name and mailing address that you would like your refund sent to, and we will start to process those on Monday, March 16.

At this time, we are also canceling our Open Cross-Country Schooling Day on March 30th. We are extremely saddened to be unable to host this event, but hope that everyone will come out to support all of our upcoming equestrian events that are still scheduled to take place starting on April 18.

In the coming months, Morven Park International Equestrian Center is looking forward to welcoming riders and spectators at the upcoming Summer Show Series for hunter/jumpers, the fourth season of Polo in the Park, and in October for the Morven Park Fall International Horse Trials and CCI.

March 28-29: Full Gallop Farm March II H.T. - Postponed
Released March 16

In response to the announcement from the USEA on suspending all recognized events for two weeks and the USEF and FEI urged the cancellation of events for 30 days due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

While the refund policy in the USEA Omnibus clearly states that there are no refunds for competition cancellation, we felt it was in our community’s best interest to come up with a balanced plan that offered some form of return on your competition investment. We wish we could offer refunds, however, that is just not possible. There are many pre-show expenses that occur whether the competition is held or not.

Full Gallop Farm - Rescheduling of March Horse Trials

We are requesting a move of the current scheduled March 29 Horse Trials to a date TBD.

Anyone who has prepaid to attend the March 29 Horse Trials will be issued a voucher to be used towards any upcoming events, shows, or cross-country schooling fees until March 31, 2021.

The New Event Horse and Young Event Horse competition is canceled and refunds will be issued for those entries that have paid.

If you have any questions please email us at [email protected].

April 3-5: Chattahoochee Hills H.T. - Canceled
Released March 16

Following the latest announcement from CDC it is with a heavy heart that Chattahoochee Hills must announce that the April International Horse Trials will in fact not run. For the good of all mankind we must adhere to protocol set out by the world's leading authorities and help with the movement to get COVID-19 under better control.

There has been a lot of positivity shown towards Chatt Hills and Stable View hanging in there as long as possible, but also a fair amount of negativity. I hope the masses can understand that our determination comes out of a positive outlook on life and that inevitably this decision was coming. We had time to take a deep breath and make decisions in a timely manner, whereby other events did not have this luxury.

We are working with the USEF and the FEI towards salvaging some positive sport, made in a responsible manner, hopefully starting with our May 16/17 Horse Trials - 8 1/2 weeks from now.

Best of luck to all, in getting through the next eight weeks.
Hugh Lochore

April 4: Pine Hill Spring H.T. - Canceled
Released March 17

In the 25 years of my involvement with the Pine Hill Horse Trials we have never had to completely cancel or postpone a USEA sanctioned event. This is even with 9/11, Hurricane Ike, Phil’s Passing in 2011, droughts and wildfires, Hurricane Harvey, tornadic thunderstorms, and flooding. So cancelling our April 4 USEA Spring Horse Trial due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus is a new and somber milestone for us.

We have new jumps, new courses, and new footing in our jumper arena and we were so excited to share these improvements and changes with our Area V competitors. Up until today we thought we might be able to hold the show but the rapid spread and efforts to contain and “flatten the curve” of the virus have finally reached a level that directs us to put the safety and well-being of our competitors, officials, and volunteers (as well as their families) first and foremost by limiting exposure.

All competitors that have entered the show need to be reassured that we will not be keeping any of your entry fees. We understand we are all in for some hard times with a wounded economy and we want to make sure we support you so that you continue to support us when we get back to normalcy whenever that may be. For those who sent personal checks – I have not deposited any of them and will destroy them. For those who paid by credit card on X-entry – I will need 2-3 weeks to process that money through the Pine Hill account and send out refunds. For those who used an Entry Certificate won at one of the Area Eventing Association banquets – we will extend the one year limit to include April 2021.

We will explore options for a make up date and if it is feasible we will get the word out.

Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support of Pine Hill. Be Safe and Stay Healthy!

April 4-5: The Fork at TIEC - Canceled
Released March 14

In a continued effort to keep a safe and healthy place for our guests and team, we are making additional adjustments to our 2020 schedule. In alignment with the USEF 30-day guidelines, we are canceling equestrian competitions beginning March 14, 2020 to include the TIEC Welcome Series.

The Tryon Resort restaurants and lodging operations will remain open to the public with the ongoing addition of proactive and extra-rigorous sanitation practices.

Additional changes to the equestrian competition schedule within the 30-day window include cancellation of:

  • The Fork at TIEC Eventing competition on April 2-6

Layover stalls and onsite lodging are available by contacting [email protected] or [email protected] or by calling 828.863.1015.

Decisions about future competitions and events will be made as new information becomes available. Please visit our website for the latest updates related to our venue:

April 4-5: Spring Bay H.T. - Canceled
Released March 13

It is with the deepest regret I have to announce that we will be canceling Spring Bay this year. Between the USEF announcement and the fact that the Lexington County Parks Department is closing Masterson Station to all organized groups, we have no choice.

We were so excited to offer a good competition, not to mention the first Modified level in Area VIII. I know many of us are reeling from the news of so many competitions being lost this spring and the impact of all of this will be unfolding over the next little while.

Everyone will be notified by email with further details and we appreciate your patience as we sort it all out. Rest assured, we will be back and we look forward to seeing you in 2021!

April 5: CDCTA Spring Horse Trials - Canceled
Released March 13

Due to the recommendations of the United States Equestrian Federation, CDCTA has decided to cancel the CDCTA Spring Horse Trials scheduled for Sunday, April 5, 2020 in Berryville, Virginia. With the extraordinary effects of the coronavirus throughout the country, we feel this is the best decision for all our competitors, officials, and volunteers.

We will be refunding ALL entry fees and office fees for received entries. Please allow us 2-3 weeks to get all these checks mailed out. Please feel free to contact the secretary, Lisa Mendell, at [email protected] with any questions.

We look forward to seeing all of you for our Fall Horse Trials scheduled for Sunday, September 13, 2020. In the meantime, please enjoy your horses and stay safe and healthy.

April 8-12: Ocala International 3-Day Festival of Eventing - Canceled
Released March 19

We have held on as long as we could, but with the CDC recommending the cancellation of group gatherings of 10 or less people for the next 8 weeks, we unfortunately have to cancel the Ocala International Festival of Eventing, held April 8-12, and the rest of scheduled events through April 30.

We can't thank all of you enough for the support you've extended over the last week. We look forward to seeing you all on the other side of this. We will also keep you updated, if we can get this FEI rescheduled to a different date.

April 9-10: Twin Rivers CCI & H.T. - Postponed (Tentative Reschedule Date: June 4-7, 2020)
Released March 16

Since the statements from FEI and USEF on March 13 and USEA on March 14 regarding COVID-19, Twin Rivers CCI & HT is currently working through the process of postponing our event to June 4-7. We are awaiting final approval from FEI, USEF, and USEA. We would offer the same levels as before, Advanced-Beg. Novice nationally and international levels of CCI4*L, CCI3*L, CCI2*L, CCI4*S, CCI3*S. We are offering two options to our competitors: you can ask for a refund less the office fee or you can have your entry remain for this postponed date. Please email Christina at [email protected] with your entry requests.

We are also canceling the Fundraiser Combined Test on April 4-5, refunds less the office fee will be issued.

We are actively trying to do what is best for the health and safety of our competitors, staff, officials and volunteers at this point. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and look forward to seeing you in June or another future event at Twin Rivers.

The Baxters & Staff

April 10-12: Fair Hill International April H.T. and CCI-S - Canceled
Released March 16

The highest priority of Fair Hill International, a 501 (c) 3 organization, is the safety of our competitors, volunteers, and officials. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as the State of Maryland, recommends that no gatherings of 50 or more people take place until the current State of Emergency is lifted in Maryland.

Therefore it is with sadness that we will cancel ALL divisions of our April 10 - 12 Horse Trials.

Stay safe and healthy, friends!

April 11-12: FENCE H.T. - Postponed
Released March 16

With the rapidly changing updates on Coronavirus (COVID-19), FENCE has decided the most prudent and responsible course of action to protect the health of our community is to postpone all FENCE events scheduled now through March 29, effective immediately. We are working diligently to reschedule each of our events to a safer time in the future. Stay tuned for further updates and thank you for your patience as we navigate this public health emergency.

April 17-19: Fresno County Horse Park H.T. - Canceled
Released March 25

We are canceling our April 17-19, 2020 Horse Trials because of the pandemic.

We will not be able to reschedule this show into the summer months because of the heat here in the summer.

All entries will be refunded WITHOUT deduction (we will not keep an office fee).

Our next scheduled show will be in October.

April 18: Sporting Days Farm April H.T. III - Postponed

Willow Draw Horse Trials would give up their May 23 date to allow this. All Holly Hill entries can be rolled over to the new date or request a full refund minus the office fee. Email Marty at [email protected] to change your entry. Hope to see you all in May!

April 18-19: St. Johns H.T. - Postponed (Tentative Reschedule Date: October 10-11, 2020)

April 23-26: Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event - Canceled
Released March 16

Equestrian Events Inc. (EEI) has announced the cancellation of this year’s Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event presented by MARS Equestrian and Kentucky CSI3* Invitational Grand Prix presented by Hagyard Equine Medical Institute. The events had been scheduled for April 23-26 at the Kentucky Horse Park.

“This marks the first cancellation in the event’s 42-year history, but the worldwide health crisis and concerns about the spread of COVID-19 make this the only decision possible,” said Lee Carter, EEI executive director. “This is incredibly disappointing to everyone on so many levels, but the health and well-being of everyone—spectators, volunteers, athletes, staff and officials—is our number one priority and given the current situation, there really is no choice.”

“Sporting events and large public gatherings are being called off all across the country and it is with deep regret, and with the highest concern for all our patrons, that we take this step,” said Mike Cooper, EEI president. “With the recommendation by the CDC to cancel or postpone events with guests for the next eight weeks, it became apparent that this was the only acceptable course of action.”

April 25-26: University of New Hampshire Horse Trials - Canceled
Released March 19

It is with great regret that the UNH Competition Management team has made the decision to cancel our UNH Spring Horse Trials, scheduled for April 25-26, 2020, due to concerns regarding COVID-19. UNH has suspended all face-to-face classes for the duration of the semester and has requested staff and faculty to work remotely and avoid campus whenever possible.

Our University President Jim Dean released a statement yesterday (3/18/2020), in which he said: "As we continue to closely follow the latest developments with COVID-19, our decisions are guided by our first priority: the safety and well-being of our faculty, staff, and students. We made this decision to significantly reduce the population density of our campuses and the towns and cities our campuses are located in, as a preventive measure to enable more social distancing at a time when many new infections and even deaths are being reported daily. While we regret the inconvenience and lack of on-campus life for our students this will cause, the health and safety of our community must come first."

The majority of campus staff and faculty are working remotely per our administration's request, and we will therefore shred all entries and payments received for the horse trials to date. We are working with the USEA to refund monies paid via Xentry. Email is the best way to reach us right now, and anyone with questions or concerns should please email competition manager Christina Keim ([email protected]) or show secretary Liz Johnson ([email protected]).

We all must play a role in our collective well-being during this difficult time, and we at UNH wish you and yours all the best in health, safety and well-being in the days and weeks to come.

Entry fees will be fully refundable, or any fees paid can be used towards cross-country schooling, future shows, etc.

Please stay tuned to Skyline's Facebook and Instagram pages for any updates. Also, our cross-country course is currently open for schooling at $35 per horse. Thank you all for your continued support!

May 2-3: MCTA Horse Trials - Canceled
Released March 26

The MCTA has decided to cancel its recognized horse trials at Shawan Downs scheduled for May 2-3, 2020. This is based on the suspension of all USEF-owned events extended through May 3 and in the interest of safety for our participants and spectators.

These times call for patience and steadfastness, both of which we equestrians have in excess, so keep spirits up as best as you can and remember this crashing wave will subside. Until then, use smart judgment to keep yourself, your friends and family, and the general community safe.

We're thinking of you all,
The MCTA Board

May 2-3: Poplar Place Farm May H.T. - Canceled

May 6-10: Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event - Postponed
Released March 16

Due to the latest updates and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), State of New Jersey, and Local Officials, it is with great sadness and frustration that the Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event (JFI) will suspend competition scheduled for May 6-10 at the Horse Park of New Jersey due to COVID-19.

The JFI Organizing Committee, along with the International Federation for Equestrian Sports (FEI), United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), and United States Eventing Association (USEA), will be looking for a future date to run JFI 2020, as soon as federal, state, and local authorities deem it safe to do so.

It is our commitment to reschedule JFI 2020 - if we are able, to help our competitors obtain qualifications for future international competitions. In the meantime, the JFI Organizing Committee and the Horse Park of New Jersey wish everyone in the eventing community good health and a speedy end to this challenging time.

May 7-10: Spokane Sport Horse Farm Horse Trials - Canceled
Released March 17

I am sorry to notify everyone that the May event must be canceled. We considered if there was a way to host smaller one days in its place but the risk to everyone is too great.

May 8-10: Winona Horse Trials - Postponed (Tentative Reschedule Date: July 4-5, 2020)
Released March 20

It's hard to believe that the Winona Horse Trials is being added to the ever-growing list of competitions adversely affected by the coronavirus. Due to the latest updates and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the State of Ohio, it is with great sadness and frustration that the Winona Horse Trials scheduled for May 8-10 at Stone Gate Farm will not run in May. However, we do plan on running at a later date.

We currently have the approval of the USEA Area VIII Chairman and Area Council to take the Fourth of July date left vacant by South Farm. A formal request has been sent to the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF). Currently, the USEF is swamped with date change requests, but we're hopeful that the requested date change will be granted.

We're looking forward to celebrating the 35th Anniversary of the Winona Horse Trials will all our loyal competitors, volunteers, officials, friends, and family even if it is a little later than originally planned.

In the meantime, stay safe, stay strong, and stay sane . . . ride on!

May 24-25: Coconino Spring Horse Trials - Postponed (Tentative Reschedule Date: September 12-13, 2020)
Released March 27

Rescheduling is done out of an abundance of caution to protect the health and welfare of our competitors, officials, and volunteers during the COVID-19 outbreak.
