AIR: Eight airlines serve the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport with around 60 daily nonstop departures and several additional seasonal nonstop flights. Savannah is a 40-minute flight the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
RAIL: Amtrak’s Silver Service/Palmetto trains offer daily service between Savannah and New York, Washington, DC, Charleston, South Carolina, and Jackson, Tampa, Miami and Orlando, Florida.
INTERSTATES: I-95 runs north/south and I-16 runs east/west.
From Savannah International Airport (10 miles):
Take I-95 South to I-16 East. Exit at Montgomery St. Turn right onto Bay Street. The Hyatt Regency Savannah hotel is three blocks on left.
Take I-95 North to I-16 east. Exit at Montgomery St. Turn Right on Bay Street. The Hyatt Regency Savannah is three blocks on left.
Hyatt Regency Savannah offers secure underground valet parking. There is also self-parking available at a nearby City of Savannah garage.

GETTING AROUND TOWN
America’s first planned city, designed with 24 tree-lined squares meant to serve as public gathering and respites spaces and walking areas. Be sure to observe the crosswalks.
DRIVING IN TOWN:
Traffic around the squares flows counterclockwise and always has the right-of-way; all other traffic should yield. B watchful of one-way streets.

BUS: Chatham Area Transit (CAT) is the local transit system. Each CAT fare costs you $1.50 and if you have to transfer buses, you will have to purchase another fare on the second bus for $1.50.

Soak up the sun with gorgeous golf courses designed by legendary players like Arnold Palmer, or simply stick to River Street.
