The University of Alabama Eventing Team was founded in September of 2013 with the intent to accept everyone who wanted to be a part of a horse-oriented team on a very non-horsey campus. All it takes to be a part of our tight-knit team is dues, with a discount if you are not able to ride for our team. We currently have members from all over, riding at levels anywhere from Starter through Preliminary, and a few of these members did not come from an eventing background.

For Randolph-Macon College, having an eventing team was simply a no-brainer.  Located just north of Richmond, Virginia, the college is nestled in a charming town surrounded by horse country and ideally located in the heart of Area II.  The team barn is less than 2.5 miles from campus, making balancing a busy course load and keeping your horse competition ready a reality.

With the ringing in of 2017, The University of Florida’s Eventing Team is halfway through its inaugural first year. The idea of bringing an eventing team to the University of Florida (UF) was first kicked around at the end of the fall semester in 2015. With the rise of collegiate eventing, adding a team at UF made sense. There is a very strong pre-veterinary and equine program and the university is forty minutes from Ocala, Florida, one of the country’s eventing Meccas.
