The United States Eventing Association’s (USEA) Intercollegiate Eventing Team Championships are one week away, taking place at the Virginia Horse Center May 25-28, 2017.

The USEA is looking forward to the second annual USEA Intercollegiate Championships at the Virginia Horse Trials May 25-28, 2017. Competitors are urged to read the previous press release, which includes pertinent information about the Championships, including scoring and team dynamics as well as stabling and prize information. All schools and team riders are encouraged to take a few moments to review it and distribute to other members of their team.

The Foothills Nature Equestrian Center (FENCE) boasted one of the largest collegiate team challenges to date last weekend at their April FENCE Horse Trials with 12 teams made of 33 students going head-to-head for top honors.It was University of Kentucky (UK) who ultimately earned the win with their UK White team. Made up of riders Taylor Pence, Rachel Kiczuk, Adrienne Watts and Claire Rowlands, the quartet lead the challenge wire-to-wire finishing on a final team score of 92.43.

Crimson Tide rolled through Chattahoochee Hill’s Spring H.T. last weekend as the four-member University of Alabama scored their first intercollegiate win at their final team challenge before the USEA Intercollegiate Championships next month.

The University of Georgia (UGA) has snapped up yet another intercollegiate win, this weekend at the Poplar Place Farm March Horse Trials. Competing alongside other southeastern teams including Auburn University, University of Alabama, Columbus State University and University of Kentucky, UGA dominated with two three-member teams, UGA Red, which won, and UGA Black, which finished fourth.
