2018 is the year to make history at the USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) August 30–September 2 at the Colorado Horse Park in Parker, Colorado. For the first time in AEC history, the USEA is delighted to announce the inclusion of non-championship divisions from Beginner Novice through Preliminary level at this year’s Championships. These non-championship divisions are considered ‘festival’ classes and will run in conjunction with the AEC at the Colorado Horse Park.

All six of Captain Mark Phillips' cross-country courses for the 2017 USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) presented by Land Rover and Nutrena at the Tryon International Equestrian Center are set, flagged, decorated, and ready for horses and riders to set out on course on Thursday.

The 2017 USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) presented by Land Rover and Nutrena kicks off tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. sharp, beginning with the dressage phase for Training and Preliminary riders. Held annually, the AEC draws competitors from across the country to vie for national titles from the Beginner Novice through the Advanced level. The Advanced division at the AEC also serves as the 2017 Adequan USEA Gold Cup Final. The AEC is again being held at the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) in Mill Spring, N.C.

The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is pleased to announce that the Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) in Mill Spring, N.C., will be the host site for the 2017 USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) on August 30 – September 3, 2017, and the Colorado Horse Park (CHP) in Parker, Colo. will be the host site for the 2018 AEC.

The inaugural Nutrena® USEA American Eventing Championships presented by Land Rover (AEC) at Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) kicked off today with seven divisions having their turn in the sand box in Mill Spring, N.C. Fences are flagged, the track is wheeled and decorations are placed – the Tryon Internaional Equestrian Center (TIEC) is ready to send the first AEC competitors out of the start box tomorrow! Courses were designed my Captain Mark Phillips and built by Eric Bull and ETB Construction.

The Nutrena USEA American Eventing Championships presented by Land Rover (AEC) is the pinnacle of the sport for the national levels. Held annually, this event draws together the best competitors from across the country vying for national titles from the Beginner Novice through the Advanced level.
