Flora Lea Horse Trial's organizing committee regretfully made the decision to cancel their September 24th event.  The President of the ground jury and TD inspected the course and grounds on Fri morning and then again midday.   After seeing how much the footing deteriorated in such a short time and how many fences needed to be pulled for safety sake it was a unanimous decision.  Four wheel drive was needed just to get on the property making it worrisome for emergency vehicles

Flora Lea is once again moving forward with new efforts for their horse trials. A new Spring date of May 22, 2011 allows for more time for the preparation of the grounds, especially on the cross-country course. The previous date in early April limited what was possible to achieve.
