USEF Announces Definite Entries for the 2017 FEI North American Junior/Young Rider Championships

United States Equestrian (USEF) has released the list of definite entries for the 2017 FEI North American Junior/Young Rider Championships taking place next week at Rebecca Farm in Kalispell, Mont. There are 33 horse-and-rider combinations from Areas I, II, III, V, VI, and VIII competing in the CH-J* division, and 14 pairs from Areas I, III, IV, VI, VII, and VIII contesting the CICOY2*.

The USEA previously announced the nominated entries for the CH-J* and the CICOY2*, but please see below for the definite entries, listed below by team.

Area I

  • Rain Anderson and Amy Anderson’s Limited Access, a 16-year-old Thoroughbred gelding (Limit Out x Miss Hatchet).
  • William Jarrell and Brenda H. Jarrell’s Grey Area (Accondy x Merry Gypsy), an 11-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding. 
  • Erica Jarrell and her own and Brenda H. Jarrell’s Uni Sprite (Brynarian Brenin AP Maldwyn x Better B’ Leavin), a 12-year-old Welsh gelding.
  • Natasha Knight and Harbour the Truth, her own 9-year-old Thoroughbred gelding. 
  • Laine Metz and her own Queen of Spades (Mokheiba x Cold Tepee), an 11-year-old Thoroughbred mare.
  • Sloane Pierpont and Charles and Whitney Pierpont’s Indie, a 12-year-old Warmblood gelding (Vechta x Indulga). 

Area II

  • Mia Braundel and her own Cashmere (Special D x Shyra), a 10-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding.
  • Ariana Freeman and Kristin Carpenter’s In A Trance, a 19-year-old Thoroughbred gelding. 
  • Alexa Gartenberg and her own Patras VR, a 15-year-old Trakehner gelding. 
  • Megan Loughnane and her own Linford (Landos x Napoline), an 8-year-old Holsteiner gelding. 
  • Alexandra Tett and Daniel L. Warrington’s Hawk’s Cay, a 9-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding (Washington x Terra). 

Area III

  • Ivie Cullen-Dean and Michael Dean’s Five-Star, a 6-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding. 
  • Gigi Hogan and her own Samba Dromo (Sandro HIT x Sweatheart), an 8-year-old Oldenburg gelding. 
  • Maddie McElduff and Bailey S. Moran’s Loughnatousa Caislean (Lucky Vailer x Loughnatousa Bell), a 12-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding. 
  • Carson Richards and Julie Richards’ Sandhills Brillaire (Staccato x Sandhills Glimmer), a 14-year-old Thoroughbred mare
  • Magdalena Valenti and Jenna Schildmier’s Romolo’s Friar, an 8-year-old Thoroughbred gelding. 

Area V

  • Adriana Beruvides and Julie Norman’s Consensus (Contucci x Miss Me Not), a 17-year-old Thoroughbred gelding. 
  • Jane Cook and her own Monatrea Xavier, a 9-year-old Irish Sport Horse gelding (Riyalan x Montrea Jane). 
  • Kit Ferguson and Yoshi (Chant de Parx x Destiny), her own 19-year-old Holsteiner mare. 
  • Ryan Hall and Tina Hall’s Graceland's Liebchen, a 7-year-old Warmblood mare (Libero Star x Ritterspron).
