The USEA Instructors’ Certification Program (ICP), Future Event Horse (FEH) Program, and Young Event Horse (YEH) Program are coming to Ocala, Florida, February 19-22, for four days packed full of educational opportunities at the 2018 USEA Educational Symposium.
The ICP Symposium, taking place on February 19 and 20, will focus on the new ICP Young Horse Certification program, with two days full of education on principles and practices of flat and jumping ridden training for 4-/5-year-olds and 6-/7-year-olds. The clinicians will be Leslie Law, an Olympic gold medalist for Great Britain now living in Florida, and Kai-Steffen Meier, a top German rider and Bundeschampionat Champion now living in Belgium.
The USEA is looking for demo riders for the ICP Symposium at Longwood Farm South. Please click here to register if you are interested in being a demo rider. There is a fee of $125 per ride and horses must be between the ages of 4 and 7 years old.
If you have a young horse that you would like to be used as a demo horse in the FEH/YEH Symposium, please contact [email protected] to be put on the wait list. The Committees will select demo horses from the wait list two weeks prior to the symposium. There is a $75 demo horse fee to have your horse ridden and evaluated by Kai-Steffen Meier or Leslie Law for the YEH day of the Symposium. There will be no fee for the FEH demo horses.
