Jump judging is a position that enables volunteers to watch cross-country firsthand from the comfort of their seat. The United States Eventing Association (USEA) is pleased to announce that the USEA Volunteer Incentive Program Committee has created six educational volunteer videos on jump judging. An eventing volunteer can have multiple roles including dressage scribe, score runner, ring steward, timer, and jump judge. With these instructional videos, volunteers can learn the skills required for jump judging prior to an event.
Refusals, dangerous riding, a fall, or a loose horse are all situations jump judges encounter. Click here to learn how to handle any situation while jump judging.
