The Event at Rebecca Farm in Kalispell, Mont. is host to many USEA programs, including Young Event Horse (YEH), Future Event Horse (FEH), Classic Series, Charles Owen Technical Merit Award, Young Riders (NAJYRC), and more. The USEA Classic Series offers competitors the opportunity to compete in the traditional long-format of three-day-eventing at the Beginner Novice through Preliminary levels. The Event at Rebecca Farm hosts Novice- and Training-Three-Day divisions, allowing competitors the experience the thrill of the ‘chase.

The Novice Three-Day division proved to be quite competitive, as there is a tie heading into the final day of competition for the class. Lilly Linder and her 14-year-old American Warmblood mare Pele scored a 26.8 in dressage yesterday, along with Mauri Anderson and her 11-year-old Hanoverian mare, Releve’. Both pairs jumped double clear on cross-country today, standing in a tie for first place moving into show jumping tomorrow.

Isabella Gunningham piloted her and Lisa Gunningham’s Holsteiner gelding Leroy (Lucio Silla x Hetty) to a double clear cross-country round in the Training Three-Day A division, maintaining their lead on a 31.3. Gunningham cannot spare any rails during her show jumping round tomorrow, as Coreena Koschewski and her 11-year-old Thoroughbred gelding After Dark (Magic Moonshine x Snip) trail them by just 0.1 on a 31.2.

In the Training Three-Day B division, Jordan Lindstedt and Janine Jaro’s 8-year-old Hanoverian gelding Staccato (Stakkato x Certosa) maintained their lead after endrance day today, staying on their impressive dressage score of 23.4. They have a 4.5 lead over second-placed Kelly Pugh and Partly Cloudy CF (Palladio x Ruthie Dear), Jennifer Bardsley’s 6-year-old Oldenburg mare, having one rail in hand during the show jumping phase tomorrow.
