Jordan Linstedt (USA) retains her lead after adding just 1.60 time penalties to finish her fabulous cross-country ride on a score of just 44.80 riding her and Barbara Linstedt's 14-year-old Hanoverian gelding Revitavet Capato (Contendro x Annabelle). Second place following cross-country was claimed by Frankie Thieriot Stutes of Occidental, Calif. on the Chatwin Group's 9-year-old German Warmblood gelding Chatwin who is also by Contendro. The pair finished just behind Linstedt on a score of 51.30.

Linstedt of Redmond, Wash. said "my ride was fantastic, Capato was super from the beginning to the end" which was clear to the huge crowd of spectators who had come out to watch the only CCI3* held in Canada and one of only 4 in North America.

Stutes expressed similar thoughts on her ride today, "I had so much fun today and he is such a special horse and I feel so lucky".

In the CCI2* Canada's Waylon Roberts and the 10-year-old Canadian Sport Horse, Lancaster, added nothing to his score of 41.10 on cross-country to gallop past the dressage leader, Allison Springer. Roberts was "really pleased for the horse, pleased for his owners, John and Michelle Koppin". Looking ahead to show jumping on Sunday he only had to say "the poles come down for everybody so we will see what happens."

The CIC2* saw Boyd Martin move to the head of the field after dressage leader and fellow Australian born, Clayton Fredericks add just a few penalties to his scores on cross-country. Martin rode Christine Turner's On Cue, a 12-year-old Selle Francais mare (Cabri de Elle x On High)

Adding just .40 time penalties to her score to maintain their CCI1* lead was Kelli Temple on the Holsteiner mare, Metallica, who was the 2015 USEA Young Event Horse East Coast Reserve Champion and is owned by Kara L Angulo. Vermont born, dual citizen, Temple who is riding for the U.S. at Bromont previously represented Canada at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.

Final horse inspection of all CCI horses begins on Sunday morning at 8:00am, Show Jumping follows shortly afterwards at 10:00am. This is the final day of competition at the 2017 PEDIGREE® Bromont CCI Three Day Event, The Todd Sandler Challenge.

The USEA sends our condolences to all of Booli Selmayr and Jaeda's connections and best wishes to Tamra Smith and Dempsey.
