US Equestrian has announced the combinations that will compete on the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team for the FEI Eventing Nations Cup™ USA at the Brook Ledge Great Meadow International presented by Adequan® and the FEI Eventing Nations Cup CICO3* Aachen. The FEI Eventing Nations Cup USA takes place Friday, July 6, through Sunday, July 8, at Great Meadow in The Plains, Va., and FEI Eventing Nations Cup CICO3* Aachen takes place Thursday, July 19, through Saturday, July 21, at the World Equestrian Festival CHIO Aachen in Germany.

The 2018 Brook Ledge Great Meadow International Presented by Adequan®, July 6­-8 in The Plains, Virginia, is pleased to announce that entries are now closed and the event is full to capacity.Fifty horse­-and-­rider combinations have been accepted in the CICO3* with teams representing the United States, Canada, and Great Britain set to compete in the only FEI Eventing Nations Cup in the Western Hemisphere.

It was a Cinderella story for the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team at the 2018 FEI Eventing Nations Cup™ Great Britain. The team comprising Katherine Coleman and 2018 Karen Stives Endowment Fund Grant recipients Caroline Martin and Hallie Coon clinched the silver medal under the guidance of Chef d’Equipe Leslie Law with a score of 109.1 during the second leg of the 2018 FEI Nations Cup series.Law, who also serves as the Emerging Athlete Coach for the Karen Stives Endowment Emerging Athletes Tour, was pleased with the team’s performance and focus during each phase of the event.

Germany has won the FEI Nations Cup™ Eventing for the fourth time since the series began in 2012. A fine performance for second place behind New Zealand at the final leg this weekend at Boekelo (NED) took Germany 80 points ahead of Great Britain on the series leader board, with France finishing in third overall.FEI Nations Cup™ Eventing is contested over nine events across Europe plus The Plains (USA), and is the world’s only team eventing series.

The FEI Nations Cup heads stateside for the fifth event in the 2017 series taking Great Britain to The Plains, USA, in the state of Virginia. The Plains, Virginia - In early July, eventing teams from around the world will converge at the Great Meadow International presented by Adequan®, in The Plains, Virginia to compete in the FEI Nations Cup™ CCIO3*. Hosting the only FEI Eventing Nations Cup™ outside of Europe, the Great Meadow International returns July 7-9.

Norfolk, England – The Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team secured a third-place finish in the FEI Nations Cup at the Saracen Horse Feed Houghton International Horse Trials CICO3*. The U.S. team of Hannah Sue Burnett and Harbour Pilot, Katherine Coleman and Longwood, and Caroline Martin and The Apprentice finished on a score of 160.9, while Germany won gold with a score of 122.2 and Great Britain collected silver with a score of 142.5. The U.S. combinations finished in the top 20 individually, setting them up for success at upcoming European competitions.

US Equestrian has named the following athletes to the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team for FEI Nations Cup™ at the Houghton Hall CICO3*, May 25-28 in Great Britain. Setting their sights on Equi-Trek Bramham International Horse Trials CCI3*, June 8-11, and Luhmühlen CCI4* presented by DHL, June 15-18, team members will utilize Houghton Hall CICO3* as practice and preparation for those important, upcoming competitions.
