Germany has won the FEI Nations Cup™ Eventing for the fourth time since the series began in 2012. A fine performance for second place behind New Zealand at the final leg this weekend at Boekelo (NED) took Germany 80 points ahead of Great Britain on the series leader board, with France finishing in third overall.FEI Nations Cup™ Eventing is contested over nine events across Europe plus The Plains (USA), and is the world’s only team eventing series.

The FEI Nations Cup heads stateside for the fifth event in the 2017 series taking Great Britain to The Plains, USA, in the state of Virginia. Norfolk, England – The Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team secured a third-place finish in the FEI Nations Cup at the Saracen Horse Feed Houghton International Horse Trials CICO3*. The U.S. team of Hannah Sue Burnett and Harbour Pilot, Katherine Coleman and Longwood, and Caroline Martin and The Apprentice finished on a score of 160.9, while Germany won gold with a score of 122.2 and Great Britain collected silver with a score of 142.5. The U.S. combinations finished in the top 20 individually, setting them up for success at upcoming European competitions.

US Equestrian has named the following athletes to the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team for FEI Nations Cup™ at the Houghton Hall CICO3*, May 25-28 in Great Britain. Setting their sights on Equi-Trek Bramham International Horse Trials CCI3*, June 8-11, and Luhmühlen CCI4* presented by DHL, June 15-18, team members will utilize Houghton Hall CICO3* as practice and preparation for those important, upcoming competitions.

The German team produced yet another excellent performance to score victory at Fontainebleau (FRA), the first leg of the FEI Nations Cup™ Eventing 2013, and seem to be carrying on their winning ways from last year, when they took four out of six competitions in the inaugural series.

Three members of the German Olympic gold medal team are heading to the Complet International de Fontainebleau (FRA) this weekend, where the opening leg of the second FEI Nations Cup™ Eventing test series will take place (21-24 March).

Germany scored a morale-boosting win in the fourth leg of the FEI Nations Cup™ Eventing, held on their home ground at Aachen (GER) and their final selection trial before the London Olympic Games. The Germans, who also won last month in Strzegom (POL), have now opened up a 20-point lead in the FEI Nations Cup™ Eventing over the Dutch, with two events to run in this new series. Great Britain, the runners-up in Aachen, are in fourth place but on the same points tally as third-placed France.
