After competition in the 2018 USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) presented by Nutrena® Feeds at the The Colorado Horse Park was cut short yesterday due to severe storms that swept through the area, the organizers did some creative shuffling to rearrage the schedule and accomodate the divisions that weren't able to complete yesterday. Preliminary cross-country led off this morning on Tremaine Cooper's at 8:00 a.m.

A full day of cross-country was scheduled for Training, Preliminary, Intermediate, and Advanced at The Colorado Horse Park in Parker, Colorado for the second day of competition in the 2018 USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) presented by Nutrena® Feeds, but the weather had other ideas and lightning and thunder cut the day short. Only Training and three of the four Preliminary divisions had their chance to leave the start box on Tremaine Cooper’s cross-country course.

Just four of the eight Novice and Beginner Novice divisions scheduled to perform their dressage tests today in the 2018 USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) presented by Nutrena® Feeds at the Colorado Horse Park in Parker, Colorado were completed before a lightning storm swept through the area, prompting the suspension of competition at 2:00 p.m. for the remainder of the day.

This year, the USEA has partnered with CrossCountry App to provide virtual course walks for all levels at the 2018 USEA American Eventing Championships presented by Nutrena Feeds at The Colorado Horse Park. With the CrossCountry App, riders can create a virtual map of their course, complete with minute markers, notes, and photos, or take a virtual course walk of a pre-recorded course.

The 2018 Adequan USEA Gold Cup Series featured 11 qualifying events over the past 12 months and culminates this weekend with the Adequan USEA Gold Cup Advanced Final at the 2018 USEA American Eventing Championships at The Colorado Horse Park in Parker, Colorado. The four Training level divisions at the 2018 USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) presented by Nutrena® Feeds all danced in the sandbox today at The Colorado Horse Park in Parker, Colorado. Competition at the 2018 USEA American Eventing Championships presented by Nutrena® Feeds began today with 10 of the 18 divisions that will compete for national titles this weekend at The Colorado Horse Park in Parker, Colorado. The 2018 USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) presented Nutrena® Feeds would not take place without the support of the USEA’s generous group of incredible sponsors. The AEC offers over $100,000 in prize money split between the divisions with $40,000 allotted to the top finishers in the Adequan USEA Gold Cup Final Advanced division. In addition to the cash prizes awarded to the top finishers in each of the 18 divisions, numerous prizes will be awarded through sixth place, all courtesy of the USEA AEC sponsors.
