Course Builders/Designers Information

The Course Designer is responsible for the layout measurement, preparation, and marking of the route for the Cross-Country Test of Horse Trials and Events. The Course Designer is responsible for the design and construction of all obstacles used in the course, but will often be assisted by a course builder to construct the fences.

The MIM Safe New Era Clip and Pin have become the first cross-country jump safety fixings to pass the Federation Equestre Internationale (FEI)'s new approvals scheme for frangible devices in the discipline of eventing.The landmark certifications mean the MIM Clip (FEI101SWE) and Pin (FEI102SWE) are currently the only devices permitted for use on frangible cross-country obstacles at FEI competitions worldwide, under the new FEI eventing rule (546.2.4.) which came into force on January 1, 2013.

Back by popular demand, the Richard Jeffery Show Jumping Seminar, presented by Hi-Tech Horse Jumps/ Jumps 4 Joy, Rebecca Farm, and the USEF will once again be offered at the USEA Annual Meeting in Colorado Springs on Wednesday, December 5, 2012.  The day will begin at 10:00 AM with discussion about designing show jumping courses.  The seminar will take place at The Broadmoor Hotel, Colorado Springs, CO.
