For many competitors, finishing a traditional long format event is major bucket list item. Waredaca Farm and the Hagyard Midsouth Three-Day Event make that dream possible by offering Novice, Training and Preliminary USEA Classic Series divisions between their two competitions. Participating in a USEA Classic Series event keeps the tradition and history of the sport alive, and gives competitors an opportunity to experience the original layout of eventing.

Attention adult amateurs, the USEA is happy to report that the 2016 USEA Annual Meeting and Convention is all about you! Amateurs are the backbone of our sport. Not only the largest proportion of USEA members, but they are also often times the volunteers, behind-the-scenes supporters and smiling faces who keep U.S. eventing growing and functioning at its best. If you aren’t an adult amateur, you know one. They are balancing working with eventing because of their love for the sport. Amateurs, we salute you!

One of the goals of the USEA Training Program for Eventing Officials (TPEO) is to encourage and educate the next generation of officials. In recent years there have been a dwindling pool of judges, TD’s and course designers as those who have been so involved in the sport begin to age out. YOU can be part of the next generation. The sport cannot exist, much less thrive, without a growing base of officials. Get involved and get licensed!
