Read on for our highlights from the third day from Long Beach, California. Couldn't make it to Convention this year? Don't worry! We'll be highlighting additional seminars over the coming months thanks to Ride On Video, who provided the livestream and will be archiving all content from this year's Convention for the future enjoyment of our members.

Carol Kozlowski called to order the final Board of Governors meeting of the 2017 USEA Annual Meeting and Convention on Sunday morning in Long Beach, California. “[Convention] seems to have evolved into a very positive experience this weekend. Thursday kicked off the first day of the 2017 USEA Annual Meeting and Convention with five open sessions and a multitude of closed committee meetings at the Westin in Long Beach, Calif. All six of Captain Mark Phillips' cross-country courses for the 2017 USEA American Eventing Championships (AEC) presented by Land Rover and Nutrena at the Tryon International Equestrian Center are set, flagged, decorated, and ready for horses and riders to set out on course on Thursday.

Since 2014, the Cloud 11~Gavilan North LLC Carolina International CIC & Horse Trials has taken place every year at the end of March at the Carolina Horse Park in Raeford, North Carolina (Area II). They offer CIC3*, CIC2*, and CIC1* divisions in addition to Advanced-Training level competition.
