Directions:
Address: 14401B Partnership Road, Poolesville, MD 20837.
From 270 North or South: Exit 15, Rt. 118 South, to Germantown. Go 6 mi. to Rt. 28. Turn left. Go 0.7 mi to Rt. 112, Seneca Road (gas station on corner). Turn right. Go 4.2 mi. Turn right onto Partnership Rd. (SVPC Horse Trials sign on corner) Go 0.7 mi. to Bittersweet Field on right.
From Beltway 495: Take River Rd exit #39, toward Potomac. Go 11.3 mi to stop sign. Turn left at stop sign (still River Rd) & continue 1.4 mi. Turn right onto Partnership Rd (SVPC H.T. sign on corner). Go 0.7 mi. to Bittersweet Field on right.
Alternate VA Route: Take White's Ferry to MD side. Go through Poolesville. Take Rt. fork outside Poolesville onto Partnership Rd. Bittersweet Field on left. No large rigs allowed on Ferry.

Entry Fees (early bird/regular entry fee/late entry): I: $200/$225/$250; P: $195/$220/$245; PT: $185/$210/$235; T: $185/$210/$235; TN: $175/$200/225; N: $175/$200/225;  BN: $165/$190/$215; Starter (Elementary 2'3"): $95/$110/$125.  All fees must be received by Secretary before ride times will be assigned! 
Stabling: $50.00 per night, includes initial bedding.

Please note that online entry to Seneca is not available through Event Entries.

Incomplete entries subject to late fees if not completed by close date and will be put on wait list. Xentry entries must e-mail/mail signature page, coggins and payment (if necessary) to Secretary within five (5) days of on-line entry or before closing date, whichever occurs first.  Double entries not accepted. Copy of current negative coggins must accompany entry: negative coggins required for all horses. Please print a legible email address for notification purposes. Starter (Elementary) entries - please use the 
2017 USEA Horse Trials Entry Form and select "Test" as your level: Starter riders are waived USEA membership/non-membership fees and the USEA Starter/D&M F. 

Return check fee $30.

If participating in the Jockey Club TIP program, please include copy of TIP card/TIP registration number with entry. 
 
Changes: After close date-$25 per change; After 6/10-$50 per change. Late Entries: See Fee schedule. For entries with ANY paperwork received after 5/30, you must pay the late fee entry price.  

Refunds:
  All entry fees include $5
0 non-refundable office fee. Before close date - full refund minus $50 office fee. After close date - less $50 ONLY if place can be filled from wait list. Wait list expires 6/15/17. Stabling - Full refund if secretary notified by 6/15/17, no refund after that date. USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subject to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test. Competition cancellation - refunds or rebates will be provided - amount will be determined after payment of expenses.  All withdrawals must be e-mailed ([email protected]) or faxed (301-721-1886) - NO FAXES ACCEPTED AFTER 6/15/17.  No phone or answering machine scratches accepted.  Check weekly status of entries updates online at www.senecavalleyponyclub.org.

Trophy & 8 ribbons per division, plus Jockey Club TIP and Charles Owen awards.
Stabling/Veterinarian:
Limited permanent stabling available off grounds at Two Sisters Farm, 21121 Beallsville Rd., Dickerson, MD (approx. 10 miles from competition site). Test & arena sizes: All I-2014 USEF Intermediate Test B-Std. All P-2014 USEF Preliminary Test A-Sm. All T-2014 USEF Training Test B-Sm. All N-2014 USEF Novice Test B-Sm. All BN-2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm.  All Starter/Elementary-2014 Beginner Novice Test B-Sm.  Arenas: Grass.
Cross-Country:
I-3100 m @ 550mpm. P-2800 m @ 520 mpm. T-2400 m @ 450 mpm. N-2100 m @ 400 mpm. BN-1800 @ 350 mpm.  Starter (Elementary)-1500 @ 275 mpm, max height 2'3". Note: All distances and speeds are approximate. Intermediate and Preliminary Cross Country Courses are of moderate difficulty and are for horses with some experience at that level. Lower level courses are inviting and good for young horses looking transition to the next level. Terrain is slightly rolling with the majority of the courses in open fields. Fields will be aerated as needed and as permitted by weather conditions. See website for photos of recent courses. Cross-country competition course closed after June 1, 2017.
Other Information:
Capital Region Pony Clubs Eventing Rally is run in conjunction with the Horse Trials and participants will have a dedicated parking area and HM area.  U.S. Pony Club members are exempt from the USEA Membership requirement at the Novice level and from paying the Beginner Novice non-member fee when competing in team competitions or Pony Club rallies held in conjunction with USEA recognized horse trials.  Horse registration is also exempt at the Novice level.
  

Cross-country competition course closed after June 1, 2016.
Competition course open for public schooling only on scheduled schooling days.
Riders may be limited on number of horses for entire event.
Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry.
Food on grounds.
Dogs must be leashed.
No non-competing horses on grounds; no hacking out on grounds prior to competition date.  Practice/hacking space available at stabling.
No motorbikes on x-c while horses are on course.
Please follow instructions from parking attendants for trailer parking.

Official schooling days June 21, 24, and July 1, from 9 am to 4 pm =$50. Check website for additional days.  No advance registration necessary. Copy of current negative coggins required (even if you submitted a coggins with your HT entry). Minors must have parent/guardian signatures. For further information, call Debby Price (301) 580-4666.
