Address: 1460 Hwy 154, Santa Ynez, CA 93460.  
From North: Hwy 101 to 154 approx. 7 miles, left on Baseline at stop sign, an immediate right after church. Follow Baseline to sign on right (approx. 1 mile). Dirt road will take you to stabling.
From South: Hwy 101 to 154 west from Santa Barbara across San Marcos Pass, approx. 25 miles after starting on 154. Turn right on Baseline at stop sign before Shepherd of the Valley Church. Take immediate right to continue on Baseline & follow approx. 1 mi. to sign on right. Dirt road will take you to stabling.

Management reserves the right to modify the schedule.
  Stables open at 9 am. Cross-country course opens at 3 pm.  Pre-show dressage 1-5pm (see other information below).
Fri:  Dressage - 8 am.
Sat:  Cross-country - 8 am.
Sun:  Show jumping - 8 am.

Starting Times:
Available 1 week prior to event at Show jumping will run in reverse order of standings in the same order that the divisions run XC.

Entry: All Levels:
$240.00  (no USEA Fees or Membership necessary for Intro Only).  Entries accepted after closing date as space permits with mandatory $40.00 post-entry fee.
Stabling: $115.00  Absolutely no haul-ins allowed.
Non-Competing Grounds Fee:
$100.00 (includes XC schooling on Sunday following the show.  Stabling is additional).
Teams: $20.00 per team.
Entry fee includes a $25 non-refundable office fee.  BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay extra $25 non-membership with entry. Intro entrants are exempt from the USEA starter/d&m fees and USEA membership/non-membership fees. 

Incomplete entries:
  $10 fee for all incomplete entries. Complete Entries: An entry is considered complete if it is received, hard copy form or Xentry, with full payment. If payment is not received with entry it is considered incomplete.
Entry changes:  $40 fee for all changes after closing date. Post Entry/Late Fee: $40 for all entries received after closing date.
Double entries: Not accepted.  Lost pinny:  $40 charge for each lost pinny. 
Before closing date - entry/stabling less $25 non-refundable office fee. After closing date - no refunds. Competition cancellation - no refund. USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees, are not subjected to office fees, and shall be
returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.
Returned checks:
  $25 fee on returned checks.
Coggins:  Negative Coggins required within 6 months for out-of-state horses.
Preliminary:  All preliminary entries must send copy of USEF cards for rider, trainer and owner.
Competitor Information
8 ribbons per division with prizes for top 3.
High Point Pony Clubber
for each competition level (sign up at show). 
High Point Amateur overall with perpetual trophy (must be declared with USEF and present USEF card at competition, sign up at show). 
2015 Champion Junior and Senior Horse/Rider combination combined for both 2015 competitions with $100 cash back (based on placings in the two horse trials combined).
$115/stall from Thursday 9am to Sunday 6pm (early arrivals allowed with secretary approval). 160 temporary stalls on grounds. Stall doors & initial bag of shavings only provided. Shavings ($10/bag), alfalfa ($25/bale) available through secretary or by pre-order if payment arrives before June 13th).  Non-competing horses:  $100 grounds fee (includes Sunday XC school) and additional stall fee.

Camping: No camping allowed.  No cooking or fires allowed.  NO SMOKING ON GROUNDS!!!  EXTREME FIRE DANGER!!! 
All tests in small arenas with sand footing. Preliminary - 2014 USEF Preliminary Test A. Training - 2014 USEF Training Test A. Novice - 2014 USEF Novice Test A. Beginner Novice - 2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test B.  Intro - 2014 USEF Beginner Novice Test A.
Course closed Monday June 1st at sundown.
All courses on groomed tracks over rolling terrain.  Preliminary - 2600 m @ 520 mpm. Training - 2200 m @ 420 mpm. Novice - 1800 m @ 350 mpm. Beginner Novice - 1600 m @ 300 mpm, max height 2'7", 14 efforts. Intro - 1300 m @ 300 mpm, height 20-24", 12-14 jumping efforts, water optional.  All courses: Average, for horses with some experience at these levels.  Studs recommended for all divisions.  Arial image of property available on
Other Information:
Entries Limited to 160 temporary stalls onsite, priority given in order of arrival of entries (complete entries only). Rider levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Prize list available from secretary.
Food on grounds.
Dogs allowed on leash only, strictly enforced!!!
Owners of dogs not on leash must donate $100 to SYVPC Horse Trials.  
Thursday Pre-Dressage:  Ride your dressage test in competition arena before "L" judge for ring exposure and last-minute tips.  Times available from 1-5pm.  $30 per ride.  Time slots limited. Sign up in office starting Thurs 9am.
Sunday XC Schooling:  Following completion of all divisions school the XC course.  $50 per horse.  Arrange through secretary at event.
