Tentative Schedule:

Fri: Cross-country course open-3 pm.
Sat: Dressage-8 am.
Sun: Show Jumping-7:30 am; Cross-country- immediately after show jumping. We use the compressed format: competitors will ride their show jumping round dressed to go cross-country and will have a twenty minute break after completing their show jumping course. They will then proceed directly to the cross-country start.

Draw checks to U.N.H. Please write a separate check for each horse.
Entry: P: $170.00; PT/T/N/BN: $160.00
Stabling: $160.00 (separate check)

Entries:

Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee.
Negative Coggins WITHIN 12 MONTHS OF COMPETITION DATE is required for all horses. Coggins MUST be received BEFORE competition - May be faxed. Entries with invalid Coggins upon closing date will be assessed an incomplete fee. Coggins bled prior to September 30, 2011 are invalid.
UNH will accept online entries submitted through www.equestrianentries.com (may pay here by credit card).
Preference will be given to complete entries mailed on opening date. Incomplete entries will be accepted as space allows, but all issues (including invalid Coggins) must be resolved by closing date. Entries not complete at close risk being replaced by a complete entry that is on wait list. Any entry that is not complete at close for any reason will be assessed a $20 incomplete fee. Double entries: Not accepted. Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.-No refunds unless scratch is accompanied by a vet or medical note AND scratch can be replaced with an entry on wait list. All withdrawals must be in writing. Withdrawals or changes will not be accepted by phone; must mail, fax, or email. Competition cancellation-Only USEF/USEA fees refunded. No refund on stabling.

Awards:

Cooler & 8 ribbons per division.  Special Awards: Lowest and Second Lowest Scoring Pony Clubber; Lowest Scoring UNH Student/Alumni; Best Scoring Connemara (sponsored by the ACPS)
Please indicate which award you are eligible for (and the name of your Pony Club/year of graduation, whichever is relevant). Connemaras must include a copy of their ACPS membership and registration papers. Details about special awards can be found at http://www. equine.unh.edu/pdf/horse_trials/ht_awards.pdf

Stabling/Veterinarian:

$160 from 3 pm Friday to 6 pm Sunday. ARRIVALS AFTER 8 PM MUST BE ARRANGED IN ADVANCE WITH SECRETARY.  Staff will be on site until 6:30 PM Friday to assist competitors.  60, 10' x 10' semi-permanent stalls on grounds under metal roof; solid vinyl partitions. Stall doors and first bedding provided (must put bedding in stall yourself). Stalls do not need to be stripped. Veterinarian: Deerfied Vet Clinic (603) 463-7775

Dressage:

Test & arena sizes: P/PT-2010 USEF Preliminary Test B-Sm. T-2010 USEF Training Test B-Sm. N-2010 USEF Novice Test B-Sm. BN-2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm. Arenas: 3 sand rings.

Cross-Country:

P-2800 m @ 520 mpm. PT/T-2100 m @ 420 mpm. N-2000 m @ 350 mpm. BN-1800 m @ 325 mpm. All courses: Average, for horses with some experience at these levels. All courses travel through wooded trails and some fields over mostly level terrain.  Ditches, water, drops/banks can be expected at all levels.

Other Information:

Cross-country course only open for schooling by appointment and will be closed completely on September 1 in preparation for the event.
Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Please take care when selecting your preferred divisions.
Food on grounds.
Dogs welcome but MUST be leashed.
PARKING IS EXTREMEMLY LIMITED AT UNH. Competitors are encouraged to purchase stabling or to trailer-pool if they are shipping in. Follow all posted signs and parking staff directions regarding parking. Bring a bike. The popular paved lot is designated student parking, and despite repeated requests UNH Parking will NOT ALLOW US TO CLOSE THE LOT or remove the student cars from it for the Trials. We have no control over this. Please respect the multiple uses at our facility and approach our parking with a sense of humor!
