From South: Left on Rte 740-Tutt Lane (200 yards after end of Leesburg bypass) - 8/10 mile to drive on left.  DO NOT follow signs in Leesburg for "Morven Park".  See directions to Morven Park Equestrian Center (Tutt Lane entrance) at www.morvenpark.org .

3pm Cross Country Course opens for walking;
Fri: Adv and Int (CH and non-CH) Dressage
Sat: Adv CT Show Jumping, Adv (CH) Cross Country, Int Cross Country and Show Jumping, Int (CH) Cross Country, Training (CH and non-CH) all three phases, Beginner Novice (CH) all three phases;
Sun: Adv (CH) Show Jumping, Int (CH) Show Jumping, Prelim (CH and non-CH) all three phases, Novice (CH and non-CH) all three phases.

Due to Championships, the schedule may be adjusted so it is highly recommended that competitors check the website after closing date or when ride times are posted.  Final schedule will be posted on the website, www.morvenpark.org.

Entries:
Electronic entries accepted - payments may be made by credit card; payment, signature page, and coggins must be postmarked within 5 days or entry will be wait listed.  Entries include $25 non-refundable office fee.  $30 fee for bounced checks. Include printed, legible, and current
email address on entry.  All correspondence from secretary will be via email.  Entries limited to 4 horses per rider per level.  If overbooked, management reserves right to limit a rider to 2 horses in competition.  Refunds: Before CD - entry & stabling less $25 non-refundable office fee; After CD - no refund, unless there is a wait-list and an entry can be found to fill the spot - then refund less $25 office fee.  No refunds (entry or stabling) after Monday, Oct 1.  Competition cancellation - no refund.
Scratches/Changes must be in writing via mail, fax, e-mail only.  A fee will be charged for any changes made to entry: $30/change; $50/change after Sep 30.  Any paperwork received after Sep 30, (postmarked or delivered) add $50 fee.  Incomplete entries may be waitlisted.  Negative Coggins required within 12 months for all horses.
NEW STYLE PINNYS WILL BE USED - RIDERS MUST BRING PINNY HOLDER WITH THEM.  Morven Park will provide paper numbers for their competitors to insert into their plastic pinny holders.  Holders are available through Bit of Britain and other providers.

Awards:

Prizes for 1st through 3rd & 8 ribbons per division.

Stabling/Veterinarian:
Stall $100, initial bedding included.  Tack/Additional Stall $100; 136 perm. 10x10 stalls on grounds.  Stall doors provided.  Shavings available for purchase, $10/bag.  No straw please.  All stabling requests must have a stabling form submitted to the Secretary by CD.  No motorized vehicles permitted in bans.  See section 10.

A - 3200-4000 @ 570mpm. I - 2600-3800 @ 550mpm. P - 2200-3300 @ 520mpm. T - 2200-2600 @ 470mpm. N - 1600-2200 @ 400mpm. BN 1400-2000 @ 350mpm. Terrain - Advanced - difficult, Intermediate - moderate, Prelim - moderate, Training - moderate, Novice - moderate, Beginner Novice - moderate.
Other Information:
Cross-country course never open except for scheduled Morven Park schooling days.  Tentative date - Oct 9, 2012 9am-4pm; watch calendar of events on www.morvenpark.org .  Morven Park Wimert cross-country schooling course available by appt only - call (703) 777-2890 x0.  DOGS MUST BE LEASHED at all times while on grounds.  USEF rule GR301.6.  Absolutely NO motorized vehicles left in barns.  NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES OF ANY KIND ON ANY COURSE.  Food available on grounds at Carlito's Cafe.  Levels may be divided/combined if entries warrant; state birthdate on entry, otherwise Senior is assumed.  The day divisions run may change due to numbers of entries.  Check online Omni listing for changes.  Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section (we will try to accommodate those preferences, but not always possible) and birth date on entry.
