Flooding Forces Cancellation of Chattahoochee Hills Horse Trials & CCI2*

USEA - Flooding Forces Cancellation of Chattahoochee Hills Horse Trials & CCI2*

Updated: 2009-09-29

Carl Bouckaert and Ritch Temple have reluctantly announced the cancellation of Chattahoochee Hills Horse Trials and CCI2* originally scheduled for October 31 – November 1.

“Unfortunately, the unprecedented flooding experienced in the Atlanta region in the last week has taken its toll,” said organizer, Ritch Temple. “We received 20 inches of rain resulting in the loss of 45 fences on the cross-country course and sadly we had to make the decision to cancel the event. We are now putting all our efforts into getting everything ready for the start of the 2010 season.”

Chattahoochee Hills will be making 100 percent refunds to all competitors and looks forward to welcoming them back next spring to new courses at all levels.
