Advanced through Training level champions were named today as six divisions show jumped in the grand prix arena at the Nutrena/USEA American Eventing Championships, presented by Bit of Britain, at Chattahoochee Hills Farm in Fairburn, Georgia. VIDEO: Nutrena USEA American Eventing Championships: Day 2

Cross-country day started early at the 2011 Nutrena USEA American Eventing Championships, presented by Bit of Britain. In every direction, big smiles, lovely horses, and great athleticism ruled the day. Temperatures were comfortable, and the footing was ideal. Nearly 200 hundred horses, Training through Advanced, took to Ritch Temple’s courses, and at the end of the day, Allison Springer and Arthur kept their lead in the $20,000 Merial Advanced division with a double-clear run. VIDEO: Nutrena/USEA American Eventing Championships: Day 1

The first day of competition at the 2011 Nutrena/USEA American Eventing Championships, presented by Bit of Britain, started early on Thursday with competitors Advanced through Training performing their dressage tests. At the end of the day, Allison Springer and Arthur led the $20,000 Merial Advanced Championship division, while Kadi Eykamp and Double Rivers Really Cool topped the Intermediate division. We also caught up with Junior Preliminary leader Marissa Hughes with Odie, as well as John Nunn of Bit of Britain, who is competing in the Training Amateur division.
