Lexington, Ky. – On Tuesday, July 25, the US Equestrian Federation (USEF) Board of Directors voted to approve the phase I recommendations of the USEF Medroxyprogesterone Acetate (MPA) Panel on the continued investigation, research, and analysis of the use of MPA, commonly referred to as Depo-Provera®, in competition horses.

Three extraordinary rule changes for eventing were just passed by the USEF Board of Directors. The Event at Rebecca Farm is just a few short weeks away and once again the USEA Foundation’s Rebecca Broussard International Developing Rider’s Committee has been hard at work assessing applications from riders from all over the United States who are eligible to receive the 2017 Rebecca Broussard Developing Riders Travel Grants. These grants will assist riders with travel to Kalispell, Montana to compete in the three-star divisions to be held July 19-23.

For the past six years over 75 Rebecca Broussard Developing International Rider Grants have been awarded to assist in the development of world-class event riders. From travelling to the Event at Rebecca Farm to training and competing across the country and overseas, the grants have helped offset expenses as riders pursue their eventing dreams of representing the U.S. at international competition.
