Area III

The USEA Area III Young Rider Program is currently accepting resumes/bids for the 2018-2020 competition years for Young Rider Summer Camp Trainers and North American Junior Championship (NAJC) and CICOY Nations Cup Coach. Job descriptions, terms, resume requirements for both positions are listed below. Final selection of these positions will be determined by approval from the Area III Council based on the recommendation from the hiring committee.

Each fall the Hilltoppers Pony Club hosts a fundraising schooling show to benefit the 36-year-old club. Held annually at Ashland Farm, a horse haven on 400 acres in Walnut Grove, Ga., the show offers a laid back atmosphere where competitors of all levels can enjoy low key competition, camaraderie and fun.

Stable View Farm, located in Aiken, South Carolina, recently hosted the first Advanced level event of its kind in that region earlier this month. The Advanced Oktoberfest Horse Trials was a celebration of eventing in Aiken which drew top level competitors from throughout the country with an eye on the generous $60,000 prize purse. In addition, the event held divisions for the Beginner Novice - Preliminary competitors with prize money up to $15,000 for the lower levels as well.
