10 Year Anniversary of Carolina Horse Park and Southern Pines I & II Horse Trials Go Hand in Hand

Updated: March 3, 2009

RAEFORD, NC – This year marks the ten year anniversary of Carolina Horse Park.  We will celebrate this milestone by paying tribute to all of our sponsors, exhibitors and friends whom have made the facility what it is today.  We have started our next decade on a high note with record numbers of entries secured for the 2009 Southern Pines I and II Horse Trials.

The countryside of Hoke County will come alive the weekends of March 14-15 and March 20-22 when these Horse Trials take place at the Park.  A broad base of diverse equestrian talent will be here to compete including several International, Olympic & World Championship event riders.  On Sunday, March 22, the accomplishments of Will Faudree's long time partner "Antigua" will be honored in a retirement ceremony.  In addition, this year marks the retirement of our beloved, long-time horse trials organizer Lefreda Williams.  We will celebrate Lefreda's amazing efforts with a dedication ceremony in her honor.

For more information on this year's exciting events set to take place at Carolina Horse Park please visit our website at www.carolinahorsepark.com or contact us at 910-875-2074.
