Can I Compete at the USEA American Eventing Championships presented by Nutrena Feeds?

Sure, as long as you're qualified! Check out the list of Qualified Riders and list of Qualified Horses. Both horse AND rider must be qualified for the AEC in order to compete and must still be eligible for the level of competition at which you qualified.

Are You an Amateur?

As a service to our amateur members, the USEA IT department has developed a system to recognize amateurs who should be qualified for the Championships, but did not receive qualifying placements at events. Because many events hold "Open" divisions where the professionals and amateurs are joined together in one division, the amateurs may have a harder time trying to get the first or second placings they'll need to qualify them for the Championships. Sure, we have many outstanding amateurs who are very competitive in the Open divisions, but our hope is that our amateurs will receive an opportunity to qualify for the designated amateur divisions at the Championships, even when only open divisions are offered at qualifying events. How do I enter?

Registration will be available online using the USEA's Online Entry system, Xentry. The USEA created Xentry as a service to members, where one can easily enter any USEA recognized event from a central and secure website. Learn more about using Xentry. Note: Entry is not considered complete until the USEA receives payment.

About the Event

August 27 - September 1, 2024 • Kentucky Horse Park, Lexington, Kentucky

Directions | From Downtown Lexington: Take Newtown Pike (922) northbound approximately 9 miles to Iron Works Pike (1973). At the four-way stop, turn left and travel westbound. The campground entrance will be on the right in 1.6 miles, and the park's main entrance will be on the right in 2 miles, just past the campground entrance. From Louisville, KY: Travel eastbound on Interstate 64 for approximately 70 miles to Interstate 75. Take Exit 75 northbound towards Cincinnati (merging traffic will join I-75 traffic in the left-hand lane and will have approximately .5 miles to move to the right-hand lane to get off at Exit 120). At the top of the exit ramp, turn right and travel eastbound on Iron Works Pike (1973). The park's main entrance will be on the left in .5 miles and the park's campground entrance will be on the left in .9 miles. From Cincinnati, OH: Travel southbound on Interstate 75 towards Lexington for approximately 71 miles to exit 120. At the top of the exit ramp, turn left and travel eastbound on Iron Works Pike (1973). The park's main entrance will be on the left in .7 miles and the park's campground entrance will be on the left in 1.1 miles. From Bluegrass Airport: Travel southeast .3 miles on Terminal Drive toward Air Freight Drive. Turn left on Man o' War Blvd. and travel northbound for .3 miles. Turn right on US-60/Versailles Road and travel eastbound for 1.5 miles. Take the ramp on to KY-4 N/New Circle Road and travel 4.1 miles north/eastbound. Take exit 8 for US-25/Georgetown Road and turn left onto Georgetown Road and travel northbound towards Georgetown for 5.5 miles. At the stop light, turn right onto Iron Works Pike (1973). The park's main entrance will be on the left in 1.2 miles and the park's campground entrance will be on the left in 1.6 miles.
