Lexington, Ky. - US Equestrian has announced the athletes that will participate in the 2017 World Equestrian Festival CHIO Aachen, July 14-23, in Aachen, Germany. CHIO Aachen will showcase The Dutta Corp. U.S. Dressage Team and Hermès U.S. Show Jumping Team in FEI Nations Cup™ action, as well as two additional dressage athlete-and-horse combinations, two eventing athlete-and-horse combinations, four vaulters, and one four-in-hand combined driver in individual competition. The following eventing athlete-horse combinations will compete as individuals in the Aachen CICO3*:

Aachen, Germany – The DHL-Prize CICO3* at CHIO Aachen concluded Saturday with the cross-country phase. Led by Chef d'Equipe David O’Connor, the Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team of Matt Brown, Hannah Sue Burnett, Phillip Dutton, and Lauren Kieffer finished in sixth on a total of 203.30 penalties. Taking the Gold medal was Australia on a total of 145.40, followed by Germany in second on 154.90, and Ireland in third on 179.90. The eventing competition began today at the CHIO Aachen CICO3*.  The Land Rover U.S. Eventing Team for this FEI Nations Cup™ is made up of Matt Brown, Hannah Sue Burnett, Lauren Kieffer and Phillip Dutton. After the dressage phase, the United States currently sits in the fifth spot out of nine nations on a cumulative score of 143.10.

Aachen, Germany - The Land Rover U.S. Eventing team wrapped up the Aachen CICO3* on Friday with the highly influential cross-country phase of the prestigious German competition. The team, consisting of Phillip Dutton and Fernhill Cubalawn, Lauren Kieffer and Veronica, Colleen Rutledge and Covert Rights, and Lynn Symansky and Donner, put forth a solid effort to receive the Team Bronze with a final score of 192.90. Additionally, both Dutton and Kieffer made the top 15, finishing 12th and 15th, respectively.

Host nation Germany took the lead today following the show jumping phase of the CICO 3* Eventing Nations Cup at Aachen. The competition is running alongside the 2015 FEI European Championships in Dressage, Show Jumping, Reining, Vaulting and Driving.Navigating a tough Frank Rothenberger course and contending with some high temperatures, many teams buckled under the pressure and time faults and fence penalties were added to the totals.
